I think this says it all about Wools' character. After enduring so much, she is so well balanced that she can make the above comment. This lady has one massive heart - isn't her son lucky to have her as his Mum. :T:T:T

MKS, how lovely of you. i know we all have blips in our lives, we just learn to deal with them and they make us stronger.

from having been put down so much, i am now a very confident youngish lady with self belief and worth and believe in the pass it on physchology. No point being bitter or grumpy. I do afterall have a lot to be thankful for so am a very lucky lady!

Big hugs to everyone, even lurkers:rotfl:

Before i reveal my most embarrassing moment, please bear in mind ds3 is 3, just, and ds2 is 5.

Wondering around tesco electricals looking for a bargain with formentioned lil ones. They were chattering along to each other happily when all of a sudden ds3 lets out an almighty scream that makes everyone stop in their tracks. The sort when you know soething is wrong.

I calm him down to see whats wrong, assistant from photo centre comes over to see what the hecks going on. When my ds3 can get his breath, he shouts

'a monster, i saw a monster in tesco'

I was confused and thought ds2 wa paying tricks so told them nicely to calm down and behave.

    'but i promise, i saw a monster'

'of course you did. Its gone now dont worry'

Preceed to next aisle quick as. Turn corner. All is fine. 5 seconds later... Same scream..

'i told you mummy, a monster, a monster'

I turned around to see where he was looking to come face to face with two ladies in burkkahs :eek:

Try desperately to shut him up but obvious from their faces they heard.

    Resort to second tactic.

'no darling, they are ladies like mummy and they are wearing the clothes that everyone wears in their country'. Best i could do with 3 yrs old.

    5 yr old pipes up.

'they are called burps, i saw them on the telly'

Quick march to lift hoping ground would swallow me

Hope that made you smile this morning!

There was a great line in Dead Enders when Mo was visiting Pat in hospital ,they were always arch enemies and Mo made some excuse to wish Pat well and just as Mo was leaving she looked at Pat on her sick bed , smiled and said .. ..keep your chin up , all 3 of them and walked off smugly .

Maybe my best memory of Dead Enders .

how did you get 50 pound if its a brick phone? i tried to sell my phone when it was still costing over £300 in shop and they offered me £28 or something stupid. so i kept it and now it sits in my drawer and is probably worth about 50p :) lol

We share lots of bargains on here, not just at Mr T, but anything we might pick up that might be useful to others, so go right ahead...

Were these discontinued lines or pricing errors?

discontinued some of them but others i think were just errors because some i never seen in there again... the charles worthington was because they changed the bottle pattern i think as mine were the older design. buttttt hair colour is a good one. that herbashine one thats between £4 and £6 was in there the other day for 10p all sold out though :( and they still sell that (up in price now) so not all discontinued :)

there own brand is a good one too yesterday they had s/d own glass and window cleaner packs of 40 wipes 20p, extra strong bin bags s/d own brand 20p. candles and stuff is good too i got all the spiced apple ones normally 3pound for 20p and some bits that were new out in other shops for 20p .. they get annoyed with me and at one point they thought i was stealing because id go in there and if nothing id walk out. whatever though i dont care i need my money for my son :) i'm not usually this bad at spelling but this computer keyboardis absolutely insane :)
