My thoughts on swearing and a new phrase that might be of interest..

I love swearing when I feel it is appropriate and do it all the time at work (manage an IT helpdesk). However, there are rules that I try to go by..

    1. Never use the C word
    2. Only swear at people who you know won't be offended
    3. Try to change system passwords to make the punters laugh, e.g. bigbum, enormousbottom etc

When I have an outburst (I am prone to them), I tend to use a phrase that my 5 year old daughter brought home from school a year or so ago - Ah Bingers!!

Ah Bingers!! is a great phrase. To me it says that I am not overly impressed with what's going on but nobody thinks that it is a swear word so everyone is happy.

Try it.. From now on every time you want to swear, just say ah, bingers!! I guarantee you will feel great and the person you are peed off with won't take offence.

Ah Bingers!! Perhaps I should ask that it be entered in the Oxford English Dictionary??:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    :T Excellent idea

I also like Mrs Brown's 'That's Nice' ;) Having started using it :o

HAPPY BIRTHDAY 4P AND MKS :)

Having a bit of a panic, I have never ever driven in the snow and don't know how to, dreading having to take DS to school tomorrow. Oh has just said go for a drive...hmmm considering how clumsy I can be I don't think thats a great idea. Any advice? As said before I live on a hill, I am literally half way but outside mine and about 4 houses down 3 or so up is the worse bit.

Frankly if it's icy in the morning I wouldn't drive - if you cant walk if too far then have a stay at home day? It's not worth risking an accident with a kid in your car

Please note this is just my opinion and I am not preaching - I just know what my driving skills are like

Totally off topic -as always on this thread, i received my Olay kit from Supersavvyme yesterday and have a load of samples and money off vouchers available if anyone would like them, if you just pm i will get them off in the post over the next couple of days, all i ask is a little bit of feedback on them so i can keep up my side of the bargain.

    Thanks xx
