:mad:what has happened? we had a few flakes of snow and the world has gone mad. no bread, milk or newspapers in tescos. well thats a bit of a lie, some weird looking bread and some strange looking milk. the only newspapers to get through the snow was the telegragh. :eek:i aint posh so didnt bother. gonna throw a loaf in the bread maker, and venture down the corner shop and get some milk. if needs must i could always "borrow" the cats milk. :o

Thankfully not too much panic buying going on in my local shops by all accounts today, after clearing the drive and path took a wander up to the local C0-0p and tons of milk left - not oodles of bread but enough (and prob what I'd expect for that time on a sun) after the joys of going out last night decided to skip taking the car out today (bad day for wombles anyway :()

mymerrywidow - I confess i have actually used cat milk in my tea before....it was icky, from what I recall it's not that diff to soya milk (which I don't like either) in fact - what is cat milk made from? is it soya?

  • Oh, aren't families great!!!
I was looking after my cousins 2 boys yesterday, the older one (8) is a wee poo and the younger one (6) is slowly being influenced by him.
Anyway, the older one has now told his mum that my DS and his friends beat him up yesterday and got his brother to back up his story, because that's all it is.
I've had to provide proof that DS wasn't at home all day yesterday while I had the boys, he was at a friends birthday party until 2pm then at a cousins party until 6pm by which time the boys were at their nanny's.
Evil wee poo he is, he knows that his mum believes everything he says and knows if his mum thinks he's being picked on by someone older she'll crack up with them.
I've told her, after she accused me of getting someone to lie about where DS was, that I'd never be looking after her eldest again!
Put it this way, none of her sisters or brother would take him, I normally wouldn't if DS was at home. He causes arguments all the time and his mum thinks the sun shines out of his backside, she believes that EVERYONE picks on him and that he does nothing to start it.
I can't stand anyone who honestly believes, like she does, that their child can do no wrong. I know DS does a lot wrong and he gets told off or punished for it but this child doesn't care who tells him off and his mum believes everything that he tells her.

She used to tell him off but says that she's fed up with being the only one in the family who has to tell her kid off when we all get together, we've all had to tell our kids off when together but when her son gets there he beats all of them then asks why none of them will play with him!
She has stooped so low as to blame all the other kids on everything that goes wrong when they're all together. Bearing in mind that there are 15 kids when they're all there and usually 3 or more adults watching them, she'll believe her son over her own mum and even her in laws who witness his behaviour.

The best one had to be at my Aunts 50th birthday her very expensive lamp got broken but there was only him in the room, he blamed the other kids although they were all in the kitchen at the time. My cousin told everyone that it couldn't have been him because he was beside her the whole time but her BIL went in to clear it all up and noticed the PS3 was still on record from when they were playing a game on it.
He called everyone in to witness it being played back and it showed that the child looked to see where everyone else was and then pushed the lamp over. Cousin still said the it wasn't him  and stormed out, Aunt is still waiting on her lamp being replaced.

Sorry for my rant but getting fed up with this child getting away with so much and his mum constantly covering and blaming everyone else for his behaviour.
I've decided that I won't be anywere near him because he's winding DS up so much and DS knows he's not allowed to do anything to him because he's younger. I told DS if he hits DS anymore he's just to do the same back. I know it's not right but it's not fair DS can't play with his cousins because of one child.
