that is pretty awesome - well done! And less than a year on MSE too. Mind you, I seem to remember you posting that whilst only registered around a year ago, you had lurked for quite a while before feeling brave enough to dip a toe in the water? I was the same, which is why I would never begrudge lurkers if that is how they feel most comfortable using MSE.

Can anyone help me (well my friend really). A couple of weeks ago my friend came out of work to find someone had hit her car and drove off, there was obvious damage so she went to security to ask for cctv, they have just got back to her and said she has to submit a written request and pay £10 is that right or even legal?

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)

Just seen this over on HUKD.

    http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/one-pack-free-andrex-washlets-when-buy-special-pack-andrex-12-roll-tesco-1134504

Tesco express stores have 12 roll Andrex for £5 and you get a free pack of Andrex washlets. If you use the coupon to get 90p off the washlets, you get 12 rolls + washlets for £4.10!

I saw this on a SEL yesterday in my local extra - but they didn't have any of the 12 packs on the shelf, so maybe worth looking at if your instore rather than running off to an express xx

    phew, finally caught up!!

Just a quick visit for me tonight to tell you all about my lovely bargains :-)

T- I paid full price for 2 jumpers, a pair of gloves and half price for a new hat. £5 off when you spend £25 thank you very much! Till spit too for £5 off £40 i will take that quite happily thank you even more! Never ever had a till spit in that store.

Then pop across to M's for cat food and come out of there with 2 green thai stir fry kits, 2 salads, 1 big salad and a potato dauphinoise all for 84p! T'was all 9p bar the potato thing, which was 39p.

Soup and salad for lunch tomorrow me thinks :-)

Its taken a while to catch up and I've forgotten all those who need them, so sending hugs around, especially for Tinyshoes and 3Dogs

  • Hi all
Totally o/t but Boots in the Metro Centre was 2 huge stands full of chocolate coins for 10p a bag. They are just next to the tills down stairs.

Nice little treat for the kids for 10p!

I read that as it's written as a leather three piece suit rather than a three piece suite!!
I had this vision of you fully kitted out in your lederhosen suit ....complete with with lots of leg slapping :rotfl:

oops, spelling has never been my strong point.

  • I could have written this! Haven't been on here since yesterday am and was expecting a marathon catch-up session but don't think it will be too long. Maybe the weather is discouraging everyone from venturiing out?

    Evening:wave:

I have been thinking about time/petrol = outcome ratio and haven't been to a big T for a week. Mainly because I can't really afford to spend money on petrol and not find anything. Hope to have a lookee at the weekend ;)

Heard stories of them saying phone isn't as described/has damage etc take a lower amount.
