Aaaahhhhh they look so cute:)

Totally O/T now, but just back from the doctors, booked in for steroid next week for my elbow but it's been getting me down and I can't sleep with the pain so the doctor has prescribed one 25mg amitriptyline tablet everynight to see if it will get me through the night. We had a bit of a "discussion" about them because I always thought they were anti depressants and I'm not depressed, but he said no in low doses they are good as a muscle relaxant and should help me sleep.Has anyone else ever used then for this, I hate taking tablets:(

Still catching up Nikki so I know you'll have had answers but I was prescribed this about 5 years ago at the start of my fibromyalgia diagnosis, I was in so much pain and consumed with fatigue at the time I didnt realise how sleepy and stupid these made me!! It was only after 18 months when I still felt so bad and decided to come off them that everyone (including doc) realised the effect they had on me. I was only on 10mg a day. Another gp tried to give me them last year for suspected migraine (after a 6 month constant headache involving 2 hospitalisations but I told him Id rather have the headache (turns out I have bones spurs on the vertebrae of my neck compressing the nerves). And on the other hand I do know someone who takes 100mg a day and is bright as a button on them so hopefully you'll get the result you need from them

  • re. slow cooking from frozen, the blog is called mamaandbabylove however its offline at the moment, just read on facebook the lady sadly lost her baby.

She cooks once a month and bags up all the ingredients for the slow cooker, veg incl and sticks it in the freezer. She then plonks it in frozen, adds required liquid and good to go. Hope she's up and running again soon.

My local extra wasnt showing any decent reductions it still had things like the Marmite gift set for £7:eek: Paper was still £1:eek: Santa soft toys were £1.75 but have 2011 embroidered on them. Pretty poor to say they still have 2 aisles dedicated to christmas stuff:eek:

Came through your pretty little village to pick DSD up from school on Friday:)

Dont go out of your way to go to S43croft, couldn't find a thing, looks like we'll have to wait till they spring clean their warehouse:rotfl:

Thanks, we'll be ready for them! :)

I think it's ridiculous that we're at the end of January and they're still wanting half price for their Christmas stuff. What planet are they on?
    Hope is not a strategy.

And I'm seriously jealous of the whoopsie heaven displayed by Laura... my local Co-Op is very poor for whoopsies indeed, the only things usually reduced are bashed to smithereens!

Although I did once get some sandwiches for 4p , they were grim and soggy but I ate them anyway and that's the highlight of my Co-Op success!!!

Just a quick question - how do you do the scored out words? Where you'd have this _________ but through the middle of the letters?

When you quote there is an option across the top (mine is on the bottom row, right hand side). It has an S with a line through it like this [STRIKE]S[/STRIKE]

I've just spotted this on Tesco.com and it could be an interesting one - and if anyone posts this elsewhere else don't forgot to credit the source:

Maschio Prosecco Spumante Extra Dry 75Cl

Special Offer Half Price Was £1.99 Now 99p

valid from tomorrow (31/1/2012) until 7/2/2012

The proper staring price is £11.99, so one way or another an SEL for 99p will mean an amazing deal.
