Looking forward to Whitechapel at 9pm with the delicious Rupert Penry -Jones...mmm:j:j:j

Although it's a bit  in places!

I saw him in 39 steps over Xmas very nice, Whitechapel must be  because my Mum won't watch it & she watches all the gory murdery things like Taggart etc, I won't watch any dramas after 9pm they'll be something in them I don't like

Would you believe it! I just thought to myself, I am unhappy with the pie so let em know. I rang the number on the box. Explained I am unhappy with the misleading picture on the box, the misleading size of the box and the misleading description "Deep FILLED pie" and they are sending me a £10 gift card and passing on my complaint to the producers!!!

Why can't you get customer service like this instore??

If you have a valid complaint guys, let em know! If enough do it then they will have to start being more accurate in their marketing ploys. :)

Well done JJ. I never used to complain but being on this site has changed all that. I "treated" myself to a new iphone cover and screen protector (usually use fleabay cheepies) in Debs 70% off sale but when I put the protector on the screen I couldnt use the phone!! Emailed the manufacturers explaining and they are sending me a selection of freebies (Cant wait to see what they send)

• Evening all

Forgot to get bread when I was in T's earlier, so had to go back ;) Picked up some more of the Andrex on the go, couldn't resist :D There are 6 left hanging on the clip strip for whoever wants them, I didn't like to take them all

Picked up a random bag of Lindor that had a sticker on it, but it scanned at £2  So that was quickly cancelled! The guy just came over and swiped his card thingy and wandered off without taking them back, or even looking at what I had done, but I did the honest thing and gave them back to him and told him I had actually cancelled them. He was like 'oh ok' and wandered off again! That's the 2nd time that I could have gained from cancelling stuff because they haven't even bothered to look  Just as well I'm a good girl ;) :rotfl:

I've just spotted this on Tesco.com and it could be an interesting one - and if anyone posts this elsewhere else don't forgot to credit the source:

Maschio Prosecco Spumante Extra Dry 75Cl

Special Offer Half Price Was £1.99 Now 99p

valid from tomorrow (31/1/2012) until 7/2/2012

The proper staring price is £11.99, so one way or another an SEL for 99p will mean an amazing deal.

But I thought I'd post a recipe for those of you left with buttermilk from making butter (nothing fancy but easy to make) - Buttermilk Pudding

a%3Epoeding.jpg

3/4 cup sugar (180ml)
1 tbsp butter
3 eggs
2 tbsp plain flour
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 cups whole milk
1 cup buttermilk

Preheat oven to 180C. Grease a casserole dish/ 4-6 individual dishes.
Cream butter and sugar, add the eggs one by one and beat thoroughly. Add flour and vanilla.
Mix the milk and buttermilk and add to flour mixture. Mix and pour into dish. Place into a roasting tin filled with water and bake for aprrox. 40 mins till done.

It's a simple, old fashioned kind of pudding, great for filling up the oven when it's on anyway.
