Refused dtd at the local express store AGAIN !! My wife bought some wine gums x2 with an ood sel 74p charged £1.54 each. The duty manager was called and said ( again) express stores don't do dtd so gave jtd.

I had to call CS about a £6 overcharge previously at this store and was sent a £12 card.

I'm not bothered about the dtd today it's the fact that they are either lying or genuinely don't know they should give dtd.

An email to HO will hopefully sort it out.

Have had dtd in express store and in esso express store.

I don't have any T-related news to post, as not been for a week
But I thought I'd post a recipe for those of you left with buttermilk from making butter (nothing fancy but easy to make) - Buttermilk Pudding

a%3Epoeding.jpg

3/4 cup sugar (180ml)
1 tbsp butter
3 eggs
2 tbsp plain flour
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 cups whole milk
1 cup buttermilk

Preheat oven to 180C. Grease a casserole dish/ 4-6 individual dishes.
Cream butter and sugar, add the eggs one by one and beat thoroughly. Add flour and vanilla.
Mix the milk and buttermilk and add to flour mixture. Mix and pour into dish. Place into a roasting tin filled with water and bake for aprrox. 40 mins till done.

It's a simple, old fashioned kind of pudding, great for filling up the oven when it's on anyway.

Thats absolutely brilliant - i made my first whoopsie butter tonight, so pleased with myself as it tastes "proper" and did wonder what i was going to do with the butter milk i have left, so you couldn't have timed it any better - for me anyway , Thank You :T:T:T

I just want to say sorry to everyone for getting your hopes up or making you dash out unneccesarily to T's for the non existant final reductions on the Xmas [STRIKE]tat[/STRIKE] stuff :o

I won't say anything again until it's been tried and tested, so sorry :o

No need to apologise, it's all part of the game! Thanks for your tip off.
Hope is not a strategy.

I've just spotted this on Tesco.com and it could be an interesting one - and if anyone posts this elsewhere else don't forgot to credit the source:

Maschio Prosecco Spumante Extra Dry 75Cl

Special Offer Half Price Was £1.99 Now 99p

valid from tomorrow (31/1/2012) until 7/2/2012

The proper staring price is £11.99, so one way or another an SEL for 99p will mean an amazing deal.

OK, Question..
If they post this online and just presume that it goes in the basket at that price- can you buy it online and expect it to be honoured? (like M&S when they have their good glitches???) Or will they just cancel?

Anyone have experience with trying this?
Thanks! :)

Hmm now you mention that b/c I think the ones I picked up tonight had that one as well, but it was a stickered barcode?? I'm really confused by these Lindor Balls! Or is it only in Expresses?
