I can't watch it, I shout at the screen more than when I'm watching football on T.V. & the woman on the bike with the hat........

I think my best one was when they were showing how to make lip balm for pennies and I could say I was paid to buy the tins we are still using (DTD days) and the latest 2 came free in the post the other day :T
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(

mine does, what model have you got ?

2.0 TD4 HSE - last of the old type model. It's brilliant with the big dogs, so I won't be changing it while they're still with us. (Hope I'm not tempting fate here, LOL, but it's been really reliable :)).
    Hope is not a strategy.
  • Over and out from me, Mrs Browns Boys is coming on and then it's an early night.

    10mg and I was zombiefied!!
    Maximum dose is 150mg....

I've just been to pick up my migraine meds. My GP has doubled my dose of the Epilepsy drug I take for it. I've been side effect free so far....so hope the higher dose is OK. She's written a little note on the prescription asking me to let her know how I get on....she's lovely!
It's amazing that a particular drug can be used to treat so many different things
What a load of old crocks we are :rotfl:

BTW I was offered free cholesterol testing tonight at sainsbobs. It's being promoted through Flora Proactive. There was also a little card adverising it attached to my prescription
Think it's running for a couple of weeks if anyone is interested.
I'm greatfull I'm not either of them :p:D

Cholesterol tests - what a waste of time.
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Hello everyone I got a really exciting DTD today (for me anyway) and its my first, so very excited. I was in a Tesco Metro, and looked at a clearance aisle, they had a Police Lego City set it said Reduced to Clear £50, I took it to the till hoping it had been reduced a little bit more and it came up at £71.96!! I said no thanks I dont want it, I thought it was cheaper than that, I suddenly remembered DTD so quickly backtracked and said oh well, I will get it anyway. I then took it to customer services and the same person came over and served me! I brassed necked it and said sorry I checked the price again and it was £50, he said let me check and went and got the SEL and came back and straight away said as its our fault we will give you double the difference, you got yourself a bargain!!!

Result x Police City Lego Set for £28 after DTD hope this helps someone and they can get one too

Isn't it a great feeling, great find and well done you.

Have 2.0 td version before yours engine 73k miles no problems.
    gear box recon @ 60k £800 ouch

The rear axles (specifically the differential)
on mine wines like hell, and is a very expensive repair, not sure if the dif on yours is uprated.

Was thinking of buying another car, then figured out depreciation on mine is already @ 100% and the other car would cost to buy and then depreciatte, and any other repairs. conclusion, spend the same money to fix up my old hippo.

    These guys are brilliant :

Puffs out chest with pride, my cholesterol is okay as were all the numerous blood tests its just still the shingles virus in my system which is making me feel rubbish.

Always a good idea to be tested if its offered though

You won't look back! It's such a rewarding feeling to make meals out of next to nothing. I even use lentils to bulk out mince meals etc. no one would ever know!
