I've just spotted this on Tesco.com and it could be an interesting one - and if anyone posts this elsewhere else don't forgot to credit the source:

Maschio Prosecco Spumante Extra Dry 75Cl

Special Offer Half Price Was £1.99 Now 99p

valid from tomorrow (31/1/2012) until 7/2/2012

The proper staring price is £11.99, so one way or another an SEL for 99p will mean an amazing deal.

Hello everyone

This is store specific I think. Tesco Extra Edinburgh Corstrphine.

30-1-12 whilst on my 7 to 8pm evening Whoopsie run I came across a shelf load of about 40 packets of Dorman Salted Peanuts 100g RTC 25p B/B 1-2-12 Almost at their B/B date but they will be fine well after that. I'm munching a packet just now and they taste great. Very salty though.

I imagine stores across the nation will all have Dorman Salted Peanuts reaching their B/B date as I assume they buy all the stock then distribute it across UK. So worth looking out for.

Oh and before you try, the bar code below Whoops Yellow Sticker scans at £1.00 not 1p ;)

Thank you to everyone who asked after my Dad.

He's home :) Does have a cracked pelvis but it will only heal with rest. The massive bleed under his skin was from this. He is feeling alot better & almost painfree :T
He's been given 2 zimmer frames - one for upstairs & one for downstairs :D
Someone is coming to assess the house to see if it can be made easier for him. Their house is full of steps & stairs & huge ceiling to floor windows. So useless for rails & stairlifts.
But the hall is huge & a lift could easier be put in to get upstairs. Dad liked that idea :T as long as it was glass :o
At first he said it was giving in (:() But it's not! It's adapting their beloved home so they can remain there forever :D

That's good news. I wish him a really speedy recovery.
I'm sure staying in their own home is by far the best option for our parents wherever possible. Your dad won't know himself when he's whizzing up and down on his stanna!!
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

You must be so relieved that he is back home, I bet he feels much better already. My FIL was the same, did not want anyone making a fuss and said he did not want the house changed. He did have a stairlift installed in the end and this meant he was able to live a normal life instead of having to move, or live downstairs. Hope he makes a good recovery. ((hugs)) to you all
