  • Also, on HDUK there was mention of Sains doing similar offer on petrol (but £40 CS), does anyone know anything? As my Mr S petrol is usually loads cheaper.

Havent noticed this tbh as rarely go to Sains but their petrol is always the same price as my locals as they are directly opposite each other on each side of a dual carriageway.....one to look out for though

Unfortunately I read this as one coupon at a time only

"Discount available on one individual purchase of Petrol, Diesel, LPG or AdBlue for one vehicle, per coupon"

    Shame ... :(

your post quoted the post with the swear filter avoiding asterisks in so that would be why it was removed.

    Hi Lindos

Which of the stores did you try? Not been out as not v good at the moment. Would love one of the cars though so hoping that my DH will call in later to check, he will also look for the lindt balls if it is a store you have not tried. X

Ive been going to Clayx and Alfreton for a change. Not tried at our local extra. Did see the remote control cars in clayx though, its easy to spot as the box is designed with the top Left hand corner missing. white SEL said £19.50, but didnt check if they were scanning at the higher price. I suspect they were because lots of people have reported this, so it seems a consistant glitch. To be honest i wasnt that struck with them, they looked pretty cheap. I did wonder if to get one for a prize at school, but thought it didnt look a 'good' prize, IYKWIM. They had lots on the top shelf, then more on the shelf below, which was the shelf with the SEL on.

Quite disapointed today as I had made the effort to go that far as those two stores have still got Christmas stuff in, but no final reductions:(

Let me know if you see any Chritstmas stuff in the main c/field extra, if you happen to go in. last time I went, all the Christmas stuff had been removed and they had quilts all the way down, seems strange that other stores still have a fair amount. the only thing I can think of is that they have moved it to another isle, but didnt find it. Not found the back entrance yet either:rotfl:. (I would be terrible in a treasure hunt!)

I knitted some last year after seeing the price they were charging in Next and M&S for the handmade ones.
They turned out really nice too.....so nice in fact that my daughter swiped the cabled ones and my granddaughter pinched the ribbon effect ones!!

I bought the wool online really cheap from here. http://www.kempswoolshop.com/home.aspx (Look in the clearance section) and the cushion pads from Dunelm so they worked out a fraction of what I'd have paid elsewhere

Oooh I love cable knit anything! I bet they were gorgeous, well done purdita :T I also loveeeee cushions! My bedroom is shabby chic with a cream gloss wooden panelled day bed that can be pulled out into a double bed. It's completely covered in pretty cushions, all mix and match pastels and prints :)

what does this consist of ..approx ..

6 slices of bread & butter
    4 slices of fried bread
    12 sausages
    6 eggs
    a bath full of beans
3 or 4 slices of black pudding
half a dozen or more rashers of bacon
    some mushrooms
    3 pink things
and maybe other hidden items ..

I wouldn't want to eat all of this .

There are thousands of OAP's , children and adults living in the UK who can't afford a decent hot meal .

I know that not eating the above challenge won't feed them but as a society we sometimes have to look inwards .

Just off to burn my soap box ;)

The 3 pink things are tinned tomoatoes!! :D:p

On a more serious note though, completely agree with your post. One person eating this would be ridiculous, it would easily feed 4 adults.
