Oooh that's interesting. I've a friend in Taunton too, so I could combine it with a visit to see her.
She's not far off the motorway though so I never go as far as the town centre. I turn left at the traffic lights near Creech Castle.
Is it anywhere near there?

Afternoon everyone, just back from Ts and nothing at all to report:mad:. My local has been so on the ball recently its frustrating. Had to do a proper shop as been using up the store cupboard basics for a while so spent almost £70:eek:. Had my £5 off £40 and a JTD of £2.05 from some wine the other night (my 1st decent one:)) so total came down a little but cupboard, fridge and bathroom basics are all well filled again. Just checked my reciepts and got another £5 off £40 for next week but no petrol voucher even though they had the signs up outside:mad: so a little complaint may be in order.

Hugs to all those who need (or want )one and fingers still crossed for a decent glitch soon

If you go through the lights instead of turning left at creech castle you come to a roundabout - go straight across and its just on your right, approx 2 mins from creech castle when driving hth xxx

It's a bit random - sometimes it works for some vouchers and other times not. Eg, the smaller say £1 off wys £3 on yoghurt, if you buy Muller packs on bogof it registers the original price (bit like Boots mentioned above) so you can use two of the £1 off vouchers and then also get the bogof discount. I have never got to the bottom of when it works and when it doesn't and you would also need a user-friendly SA to be prepared to scan the coupon if the total is below £40 (or risk getting it totally wrong through SS and "losing" your £5 off). I have had totals well below £40 in the past and asked the SA to scan and try it and it has worked OK.

It often does work on non-food discounted lines where the till recognises the original price - think there have also been quite a few glitches along these lines reported for clothing.

And definately does work after coupon discounts, eg if you spend £40, then use £10 of coupons, you wll still get your £5 off £40.

I never used to read the T&Cs but it was a SA that told me on the last promo that 3 could be used togther and indeed when I read the blurb under the bar code it confirmed it.
