Jayk don't panic, hopefully someone will come along more in the know than I am (maybe start a new thread if you're still really anxious??).

I was told by the IS and the CAB..."If you're insolvent then you're insolvent" - the Judge will decide that and then the OR will decide on a BRO, IPA etc., as you know.

Easy to say but please don't stress, you have nothing to pay your Creditors with, how can you not be judged BR?

thanks Flo yes that does make sense be so glad when Tues is over just letting my mind go into overtime will try to stop that.

Must sound like a right fool its the unknown really and am a born worrier.

You don't sound like a fool - you sound like a normal person suddenly dropped in to an unknown world :eek:

You're bound to worry, I must admit that there are aspects of mine that make my hair stand on end with worry but thankfully I've gone in to "denial until/if it happens" mode and I refuse to think any more about it....well most of the time anyway!!

Have given myself good talking to!! Going to my daughters and wll show her completed forms. Shes doing dinner and will spend time with my grandaughters. Going to clean flat tomorrow like a demon posessed!

You have right attitude how you getting on with clearing all stuff out. Local council will take x 3 items away fr nothing you know.

Wish you well with your move cant be easy but a home is what you make it and a fresh start for you without all stress will make you feel better.

Spring nearly here and I aim to get fitter this year and go for lots of walks to try and improve my health so in time can look for work. Feels weird not working first time in over 30 plus years.

Let you know how get on on Tuesday.

Hi everyone, welcome to the February 2012
Bankruptcy Club.

This club is for everyone who has gone or going through the process of Bankruptcy during February 2012. So please feel free to join and post.

Pop your name on here, the date that you went Bankrupt and the stage that you are at now in your Bankruptcy. And then just keep everyone in the club updated throughout the next year about your journey through Bankruptcy. That way we can all stick together and compare notes and we will be there to support each other throughout the different stages in our Bankruptcy.

Remember this is your board so keep posting.

Obviously anyone can come on here and post anything that will help us all and you are all welcome. Any important questions that do need answering are maybe still better posted on the main board but if you do put it on here, then maybe we can help each other.

Hopefully it will be an extra place for friendship and support as we compare notes and discuss what is happening with our Bankruptcies.

Please leave a post when you have been declared BR, and I will update the list.

Thanks Jayk, I didn't know that, I'll call them soon and get them to take the 3 biggest! :beer: Still got lots to sort but getting there..
Your family will cheer you up today - lovverly roast dinner cooked for you and the prospect of a nice clean flat to come home to on tuesday!

You're right - spring is on it's way, that bodes well for us doesn't it?!:D

Used on line gambling site ( slots) used money current account, wages not credit
Not good with managing money
Paid a couple of creditors 2011
Prior to 2011 was making DMP payments and before2009 was making full payments.

Now on ESA cont based with rent and c tax paid. Have always worked, not working now since Oct 2011- redundancy- yes wasted that money.

thanks everyone a new start is what I must focus on at end of day I have a lovely family, never done any harm to anyone and circumstances can change everything. Least I can make a new fresh start and start to hold head up again. Will not be easy for any of us going through this but start of new journey for all. Next year we will have come through it. I will probably be a few stone lighter as well!! (hope)

Well I am all set now and ready for tomorrow. Checked my co-operative bank a/c on line and they have already set up cash-minder account details.Just will wait now for PIN and card. Will put add new details of cashminder account onto SOA so that it is recorded prior to my using it. Co-op have been great and I have informed them of pending BR. I have been with them for a number of years.

Had good day yesterday and feel calm today and ready to start to move on. Intend to tell my son about it all at weekend (don't want to discuss on phone). Want to be open and above board with friends and family. No more lurking for me!!
