Hi everyone, welcome to the February 2012
Bankruptcy Club.

This club is for everyone who has gone or going through the process of Bankruptcy during February 2012. So please feel free to join and post.

Pop your name on here, the date that you went Bankrupt and the stage that you are at now in your Bankruptcy. And then just keep everyone in the club updated throughout the next year about your journey through Bankruptcy. That way we can all stick together and compare notes and we will be there to support each other throughout the different stages in our Bankruptcy.

Remember this is your board so keep posting.

Obviously anyone can come on here and post anything that will help us all and you are all welcome. Any important questions that do need answering are maybe still better posted on the main board but if you do put it on here, then maybe we can help each other.

Hopefully it will be an extra place for friendship and support as we compare notes and discuss what is happening with our Bankruptcies.

Please leave a post when you have been declared BR, and I will update the list.

*PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE TOO MUCH INFO, THE IS ARE KNOWN TO FREQUENT THIS SITE AND TOO MUCH INFO MAY MAKE IT POSSIBLE TO IDENTIFY INDIVIDUAL CASES, SO KEEP INFO TO A MINIMUM, ie USERNAME AND DATE ONLY."

  • Well I guess I will be able to officially join sometime in Feb, I've got all the forms and my bf is coming round tonight to help me fill them all out. I've got the fees organised, just need to call the court to make an appointment.

As I've recently opened a Co-Op Cashminder account and am waiting for the paperwork to arrive and all dd's and so's to be transferred over to the new acc not sure if I should wait for that to be completed first so as to avoid any issues with payments etc or whether to simply get on and do it.

Its up to you tbh, I would wait for all your DD's to be transferred over first. When you know your court date come back and let Dojoman know and he'll add you to the front page

  • Hi Everyone,

I'm taking the plunge this month too, and am having the same anxieties about my shiny new Cashminder a/c - have a feeling that things won't be transferred in time for my next payments now so will contact the CoOp etc today.
I keep having the wobbles as I feel I should've continued to try to keep paying my creditors but the good and generous advice on here has kept me sane - thank you all.
I'll be seeing an advisor at the CAB before I go to court so that will help no doubt help with the extra worries I have.
I'll lose my house (Vol repo), and my self respect but can't wait for the fresh start if all goes well.

I'm looking forward to joining the club!
