Mine is still no service - stopped working on 11th April after two months of working fine - I emailed freedomtalk but then thought I'd maybe used up my data allowance. I'm still not sure if I have - can't connect at all with it though, and the regular 3 one works fine.

The ebay vendor (same one as mentioned above) said there were issues and that I should email support@freedomtalk.co.uk with the telephone number of the simcard. Not sure where to find that number!

• I emailed Freedom Talk on that email address I was also given it by the Ebay seller, but it did not work, The message came back as a delivery failure. The Ebay seller has not replied after I told him this.
• Maybe you used the wrong email, I've just used that email and I'm not getting any delivery errors.

I will phone them tomorrow but I doubt I will get through, probably some receptionist will take my number again with a promise that someone will phone me back but they won't.

I think I've learned a lesson through this, if it's too good to be true it probably isn't. :(

I sent both sim cards back to a1 techstore and he's issued a refund

jpscloud - If you want to know how much data you've used, you'll have to register the card with Freedom Talk - go to the Freedom Talk website and then to 'My Freedom'. You'll need the 19 digit number which is on the card the sim card came in, as is the hone number. I think the 19 digit number is also on the sim card. So long as you have internet access (eg through a 3 sim) it doesn't matter if your Freedom Talk sim is working or not. I registered my daughter's sim before I returned it back to a1 techstore to check how much data had been used (didn't matter as it happens.)

madmaxine - has the ebay seller offered a refund? Which seller was it?

I received an email from Freedom Talk (I'd used the 'Contact Us' email on the website) on 12th saying they expected the issue to be resolved within 72 hours - presumably it hasn't but I don't know as I've returned the sim cards.

As I've said before, both my daughter and I have had 3 month Freedom Talk sim cards before with no problems apart from the slight glitch that I opened this thread about.

Fairycakes, I chucked the card away! Will have to check if the number is on the sim. To be honest, I think pretty much all the data allowance was used up - I got two months full service for about £12 so I think I'll just settle for that.

I've emailed Freeom to suggest that if it's a technical fault with my SIM, they should send me a replacement. I've emailed again today to ask for an update as it's now been 72 hours since the last one, no reply again.

I think I would've settled for that too but we'd had our sims for less than a week.

Personally, I don't think it's a technical error with the individual sim cards, I think that's a smokescreen by Freedom talk. Have you tried to get a refund form the seller?

Yes, I emailed A1 first as they were the retailer, they offered a refund for unused data/time, but I thought I'd give it a few days in case it came back. Looks like I'll be sending it back after all as FT don't reply any more. Pity, though, it was fine for a couple of months, if anything a slightly better connection than with the 3 SIM, even though I don't think that can be.

Yep same here freedom talk emailed me 3 times to say 72 hours 2 weeks ago, got an email saying they would be in contact to replace my sim 3 days ago, nothing since, shame as I have been using them for ages,.
Just fired off a email to A1techstore to see if they would help :(

I should think they will.

I posted the sim cards back on Saturday, got an ebay message saying the seller wanted to issue a refund on Monday (but didn't see it until yesterday) and the money was in my bank account this morning.

I don't think the problem is anything to do with a1 techstore and I've left them positive feedback though waiting for feedback from them.
