Quick Word Question Please

Hi Guys

I'm trying to insert an elephant image into a circle in Word, can anyone help me please?

Ideally, I want it to look something like this, but with different details on it, and preferably with an elephant trunk raised up, but if couldn't get that, it wouldn't matter.

If I could get the circle large enough, I could then use my circle punch just to punch them out, if you see what I mean?

Thanks

Sal

I think you may have to create the full image in another application (Photoshop, Quarkxpress) and then insert it into a word document.

Oh dear, that's bad news for me unfortunately - thanks for taking the time to reply anyway.

  • I don't have Word to check this, but you may be able to insert a circle and use the 'fill effects' to fill it with your image.

Alternatively just post the image here, describe what you want, and I'm sure there are a few people who'd sort a full image out for you.
  • Hi,

no expert, but did this using Paint, so it's doable.

  • I can sort out an image for you no problem, please describe exactly what you want and how big etc.

    Something like this?

(sorry, as I'm new I'm not allowed to post links. Can someone post it for me below?)

    Do you need certain text?

And does it matter how the elephant looks? Do you want it cartoony or realistic or a photo?

    Oh my goodness!

You're a fabulously clever lot of people!!

What I need is to be able to print off a sheet of these - it's for the front of the wedding invitations, like a topper.

So if I could have the same as the image above, with the words

Wedding Invitation, either below the elephant or perhaps the word, "Wedding" above the elephant and the word, "Invitation" below it?

I have a large circle punch so I thought if it was printed off big enough, I could then just punch them all out. I need about 70 or 80, you see.

Also, could the blue be changed to a burgundy colour at all?

The date of the wedding is 22nd Dec 2012, but I'm not sure if that should go on it or not, just thought I'd add that bit in. lol

I'm amazed at how clever you all are, not to mention very, very grateful.

    Hi,

I'll drop out and let Chickabiddybex carry on, sounds as though he/she knows what he/she's doing.

I would get there eventually, but you need them for December. lPSDFQAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==

    Good luck.

Edit: Do you want the words inside the two circles, Chicka might ask?
