I thought there was also an option to pay using a credit card too I saw an option for it when I was going though the checkout proceedure.

Comment on here are staerting to worry me...When I spoke to them and looked on the site no mention of graded ! I thought it would be new, wouldnt they have to tell you if it was graded ?

I checked an Paypal will re emburse you up to £500 if the product doesnt turn up so thats even for this TV.

Is the 2 year or 3 year really a big deal ? My last tv has lasted over 12 years are we to assume there are going to be problems with this tv ?

    It's different technology.

I have heard of lots of LCD TV's going wrong within 2 years, so I would say that the warranty is very important, as these flat screens tend to be throw away items out of warranty.

I am keeping my CRT TV's until they die. :D

The stand looks good never bought from ebuyer do they do discount codes ? If so can someone point me in the direction of some.

When I spoke to them on the phone they never mentioned that I could get 3 years instead of 2 if I wanted. They never mentioned the warranty at all.

  • ahll, the extra year isnt that important but the implications of the why is has a lesser warrenty to everyone else is.

Its not usual for suppliers to sell the same TV with different warrenties.
I'll try and contact Hannspree tomorrow and confirm if this is the case.

if so I'll be ordering 2 direct from the website, if its lies and 3 years is the default I'll be staying well clear.

looking at the Hannspree website it seems to me to be saying the warranty is 2 years

    http://euenservice.hannspree.net/

    YOUR HANNSPREE WARRANTY
23” LCD-TV and below is covered by a Return to Base (RTB) warranty. This warranty is valid for 2 (two) year from the date of the original purchase of the product.

26” LCD-TV and above is covered by an On Site Exchange warranty. This warranty is valid for 2 (two) year from the date of the original purchase of the product.

  • Cant find contact details but noticed this
"What is the warranty period of a Hannspree product?

HANNspree provides a two (2) year Return to Base (RTB) warranty for 23” TV and below, and two (2) year On Site Exchange warranty for 26” TV and above from the original date the product is purchased. You will be required to provide the valid original purchase receipt to obtain warranty service."

I think I'm ready to order. The better half took some sweet talking but we have a green light! :D
