As for the LCD Sky remote query, most of the Sky Digital/Plus remotes are Revision 6, you can check this by removing the battery cover and checking the little sticker.

Most LCD's will work as long as you use the Sky HD remote, or a Sky+ Rev.8 version.

Hope that helps some of you with the annoying issue.

Just had an offer declined on ebay for the same item. I'm a little worried about the warrenty. Its 3 years on ebay and 2 on the their website. I asked them about this through ebay and the extra price reflects the extra years warrenty. I asked in the same email why there would be different warrenties for the same product but they ignored that bit. On other sites the warrenty appears to be 3 years :(

    I smell something fishy :(

interesting as their website said 3 years and 2 years yesterday and i emailed them to ask if it was correct.

    here is the response i got;

"Sorry about the confusion , the price shown is for a 2 year warranty , we
can upgrade to 3 years for an additional £75 . This has been corrected now."

i havent seen anywhere that lists a 3 year warranty for the set.

when you say you had an offer rejected - was that one of those "best offer" things? can you give us an idea of how much you offerred?

Yes best offer was £900 for 2. I need to find out what the default warrenty is before I go further. If its 3 years then something is up as everyone else seems to offer 3 years :|

    Just got this.

"Hey, The warrenty is offered by Handspree but is available to us in a 2 or 3 year version with a different cost. We are unable to offer a different price as that is our best price!

yea i know the website is down were doing maintentance it will be up shortly.

    Thanks,

    Matt."

I'll try and confirm with Hannspree but it seems fair enough. I'm still a little worried as 2 times I've asked is the item 100 brand new ungraded and they have not replied directly. Is the price different because the item is graded I wonder ? :o

450 notes each and they turned it down !!- you'd be better getting off their website with free delivery (if its still on)

I paid £18 for next day UPS delivery as that seemed to be the only option available. My tv is due to arrive tomorrow so I will let you know how it looks and seems etc. I am not very techire TV wise so I will do my best.

I need a good tv stand to go with it. Does anyone know of a bargain TV stand to go with it ?

Keep us informed as I'm interested in one, aswell.
Notice, also, that they only take Paypal...not my favourite method of payment.
