Hello! i was just wondering, as this is a money saving website-how many ppl on this thread have actually been only buying what they need and saved any money?! With all these 3 for two's and 6 for something else kind of offers, everyone seems to be buying a lot! I have to say i ve been good and only brought things out of boots with a voucher i earnt off a survey site, and i can get quite a few things cheaper in other shops-so dont give in to boots much!

with all the offers it actually costs less to buy the 6-4-1 things etc and gain points than stuff that we actually probabaly need....:D

Not in my store it's not - I just got back from shopping!

But I did have a marvelous time thanks to tips from here:

I printed out 5 vouchers for 250 point on Men Botanics and found 5 tubes of moisturiser for 50p each. The kind girl on the photo counter put them through one at a time for me, so I got 1250 for a £2.50 spend.

Also got the 2x £7.50 No. 7 sun stuff on BOGOF + free wrap and used £5 No. 7 voucher, so paid £2.50.

Got a No. 7 pre-holiday pack £5.50, but used £5 No. 7 voucher, so paid 50p.

2 x Sanctuary spa salt scrub bars @ £3.95 each + free weekend bag. Used £2 off £10 voucher from No. 7 wrap so paid £5.90 + 200 points from AC machine voucher (did not scan so were added manually).

Can't be bothered to add up totals - but it's looking good!

Does anyone know if the Boots in Brent Cross has the ac machine? I've tried searching on boots but can't find anything..

Im giving/given a lot of mine to school/village/cricket raffles.

My granny has had to go in to a home so Ive given some of my free toiletries from tescos to the home for them to use as they want.

Also given some of the suncare a way to friends who will use it & saved the sanctuary for birthday presents

the stuff i have bought "for the sake of it" has cost me little money and make great presents in hampers for xmas! plus all the point offers that came with the botanics etc meant itd be rude not to take things off thier hands...due to a very nice poster giving me sancuary vouchers ill be buying (for very little) 2 sanctuary products to get the weekend bag thatll make a lovely prezzie. Its sooo much cheaper doing it this way than waiting for xmas to come! lpus anyhting that doesnt go to prezzies im carbooting when the weather gets better to make some money
