can you imagine how confusing this could get if they do the 641, free gift plus the 300 points instore, surely you could get 6 items of suncare, a free gift, 300 points all for an outlay of 50p and a voucher

Hi

I was on the boots site and it looks like No7 is on three for two plus the free gift promotion is still on. I tried to add some items to my basket to see if both both promotions worked and it gave the third item soon but said that the free gift is temporarily out of stock.

Would be great to get three for two plus the gift!

The £5 No7 voucher is brilliant too but I don't have the full range in my local store so I'm limited on what I can use it on.

Sorry if this has already been posted. I looked back a couple of pages and couldn't see anything about it.

I am going into Boots this afternoon but I am really nervous as these things never seem to work out for me! Can I just get this straight - I have a £5 voucher, I have to get two No 7 sun things for £7.50 each and look for the Sanctuary things, check the machine for vouchers - do I do the transaction at the No 7 counter to get the wrap or do I avoid the No 7 counter, pick up a wrap somehow and take it elsewhere? What do I do about the Max Factor thing? Very confused, nervous and shaking as if I am doing something illegal!

no7 Online - 3 For 2 Is Not On If You Add Three Items It Charges You For 3 -it is a glitch on the web site.. It Is ONLY An Extra 300 Points With Any Purchase that is available as they are Out Of Stock Of The Wrap.

hi with the no7 i would avoid the paying at the no7 counter and head for the photo counter or the chemist part, make sure they scan the sun care first then hand them the wrap, i have never been questioned on this and have done this several times, (the aftersun face cream is great and works on this offer)
i wouldnt worry about this offer going through in our store there are no signs up advertising that the no7 suncare is on bogof so if they say anything at the till you could just say that you didnt realise this was on bogof and that you will go and have another look and come back later

Never, never, ever pay at the No 7 till...if they try and make you pay there say you have other things to get and wander off. Just pick up a MF box...they really do go through free and with no MF purchase! And don't forget your Boots magazine too!!!

Avoid the No7 counter! add a few things to your basket to avoid suspicion... and pay at the pharmacy or photo counter if possible, tho some of the supervisor staff on pharmacy have been on to me before with the MF boxes. Wrap should scan with purchases of £15 (till recognises prices before BOGOF). Some SAs may get picky that you're using a voucher, or that it's BOGOF so shouldn't work even though it scans okay. Best to leave it and try again at another till another time in that case You're asking for the transactions to be put through the till, so not illegal, just exploiting a glitch in their systems.

MF deal = box (either red or black, with ribbon in contrasting colour) is meant to be free with £15 spend/mascara purchase (this deal varies store to store), but it scans as free even if you dont buy a MF product. If they do ask where you MF item is, say it must've fallen out of your basket (eyeliners always do...) and you'll leave it aside now for another day as you're in a rush.

Thank you very much for those replies. I have come a cropper at the photo counter before in the Lancaster store, that's where I had a really embarrassing episode! I have to go there with a film anyway, so I might try it. In fact, all the SA's, even on the Pharmacy in Lancaster, seem to be very suspicious and watch like hawks as everything goes through! I haven't found anyone 'nice' who lets things go. Wish me luck now as I go and try it!

Thats a good idea, but i tried that years ago when i was in a v.important meeting and a nervous wreck, wasnt such a good idea after all and started sniggering:eek: but would probably work better if done in shops :rotfl:

I know to go to the photo or pharmacy counters, but horrible sa is in a counter next to the window and might see me coming in. But thanks Cat72 for the great advice:T
