Just wanted to say thank you to those of you who responded - I thought no one had and went back and deleted my message as thought I was wearing my invisibility cloak :o (sorry, hormonal, BD lurking and missing DH). I''ll just do what I can.

I haven't done anything from today's list but want to get some more typing done, need to do washing up and get generally sorted so I can have a nice weekend with the kids whilst DH is still away. He's back on Tuesday and it can't be soon enough for me.

Dusty we've had a glut of eggs as for a while our chooks weren't laying but now they're on a bit of a laying frenzy (4 hens - 3 eggs per day) just after I'd bought a big box of eggs from the supermarket. We've been having nice cakes lately and I'm planning to do cooking with the children on the weekend ..... ask me if that was such a good idea when everything is covered in a cloud of flour!

CY so glad DS has a new job :T

Goodintentions are you a childminder? Sorry, I don't know you. Hope you sort out the non payer; that's taking the mick.

Beanrua where did you go on holiday? Well done on your tidy house :)!

GTG - DS just come up to me and has Philly plastered all over his hands so needs a clean up. Good job I haven't just cleaned the bathroom sink!

Dusty/JJ - I find the main list useful for reminding me of things I haven't done for months. I followed them faithfully for a year when we had stars :p

Lamewolf - do your own thing and keep posting, back in the deep darkness of the start of the threads that was how it worked, mutual support and no lists.

Lady L - good to see you posting

mummyto5 - clarks here too, 4plus DS1 went through a pair every half term and then I lowered my standards about scuffing! I started putting deep soak shoe polish on and leaving it over night which sorts them. Permanent black marker helps too if need be. Now if they still fit, and are not atually leaking I just clean them - and if they are muddy the boys clean them.

CY - if you have a kodak express locally they will have a kiosk that you can put the memory stick in and will do random sizes. I can find out who has decent kit local to you from work if you let me know roughly where.

Well today has been an eye opener. I was watching an article on TV this morning whilst working my way through my paperwork on whether you can train yourself in Will Power and I like to think today I have proved that you can. Normally on a Friday I can stay in and get done what I should. Normally I would pop out once to the supermarket, then again later to grandparents and then again later to a friend. Well today was a huge change.

I woke up this morning thinking today is the day. My aim was to get as much work, paperwork, jobs out of the way so that I could start on Monday a fresh and keep on top of things, plus do as my consultant said and find more me time.

    This morning I did:

Started the morning writing a list of things I need to get done on todays page in the diary so I could cross it off as I got it done.
Put two loads of washing on and got one load dry already.
Brought Printer down from Office on third floor so I didnt waste time running up and down.
Did all my voluntary work paperwork, dropped it down there, sorted my diary there and dealt with any issues there.
Took the delivery of building materials for the garden.
Phoned the bank and left a message
Sorted and replied all my current emails
    Made homemade soup.
Did all letters for my business
    Did all letter to debters.
Prepared a Slimming W meal from scratch
Loaded dishwasher, just need to empty now.
Started to stuff envelopes for delivery tomorrow to houses
    Run other halfs bath

I must admit I did go meet the girls for Coffee and cake but decided that was my lunch break, my well done for getting through it all and normally I would have gone out at least three times not once.

Going to do a bit more envelope stuffing, and then have a relaxing bath and chill on the sofa. :j

    Will finish my flying tomorrow

Thanks. Yes, I am. And yes, she is!! I have told tax credits that the child has left me, so lets hope for her sake she is not still claiming as well!! ;)
My DH is working away a lot (or working nights). He was away in Cardiff over Christmas & New Year, and it just didn't feel like Christmas :( But at least he is working. I feel guilty sat at my laptop all evening (either paperwork, or studying, or just playing games on FB!!) when he is here, so I know what you mean.

DH & DS have sorted through DS's clothes - I think we need to go clothes shopping! They have chucked out a huge sack, and he doesn't have much left. He is going through a growth spurt I think (he is 13).

OK - dinner is ready (thanks to DH :T) so GTG :)

    Happy Friday everyone
I have a bit of catching yuo to do as I never fly at all on a Thursday. DH & DD have gone out to a do at school so I'm home with DS for a couple of hours - I could do something productive, but I think I'll just plan what I'm going to go tomorrow & catch up with casualty with a cuppa. I've still not seen the episode with the fire!!

DH has been home all day so he hoovered the whole house :D and baked a banana cake with some gross looking bananas:)

So here's the things I intend to do:

    Kitchen and Dining Room
    Mop the floor
    S&S surfaces
    Living room
    Declutter the hotspot
Get everybody in your house to help you for at least 5 minutes each
    Bathrooms and loos
    Level One
    Clean sink and toilet
    Wash mats and towels
Water plants, gardeners sort through your seeds, bin out of date ones and write a list of what you need - flyladies you can all grow something to eat this year
    Master Bedroom
    Level 1
Gather up all the laundry from various places
    Change the bedding
    Level 2
Tidy and dust at least one surface
    Sort belts/scarves/jewellery - can any be rehomed/sold
    Level 3
    Wipe the door handles upstairs
    Kids Bedroom or neglected room
    Level 2
15 minute tidy up of your messiest room
    Level 3
    Wipe downstairs door handles
    Extras
    Finish something you've started
Sort out ebay parcels - well ones that have bids on
Look for more stuff to ebay
    Take jeans back to next
    HHI x 3

See if you can finish you're flying earlier this week so you get a break before the new thread, even if this means removing some things from your list - I am aiming to do all the cleaning on Sat so Sunday I can chill & just do the ironing. DH is a bit down in the dumps today so I think we need to do something nice on Sunday.

I haven't had a chance to read the thread yet - hugs to anyone that needs them

Thank you all for the reassurance that no-one will be offended if I cease doing the lists as set.

LW I do my own lists for similar reasons to you. I was feeling I wasn't doing any of the things on the list so I have often written my own list here and do what I can.

I think that you should stay and do your own flying. We have our own special ways of doing things, sometimes I just delete the things I can't manage. e.g. the kitchen floor. Someone else will do it eventually, I hope. :D Can I pm you?
You can now that I've done a swift Kim'n'Aggie on my pm box!:D

That I didn't know; before my time, no doubt.:o

Celebration time.... I have done my LAST EVER CAMRA paperwork. It took an absolute age (why, when people talk about a pub, can they not say what one they mean, instead of leaving me to work it out? Do they not know how many Red Lions and Green Men there are??)

The documents are now in Mr LW's computer, ready for him to forward to the relevant Powers That Be, together with a note of the URLs the next [STRIKE]mug[/STRIKE] volunteer will need.:T:T:T:T:T

Oh, and the spare room got a dust, if a fairly cursory one, and I've emptied the shredder; it'll just have to do for this week.;)
