Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
Hehe, Kite2010, we are definitely not 'foolish enough' to pay against any invoice or letter from A S Services. As yet, only that single letter has arrived, it's kind of them to give us 28 days to forget them completely. The cheque for £1 has not been presented, yet. If they refuse simple payment made in good faith, then it's obviously going to cost them money. Our intention now is to ignore all further contact and let them waste paper!0

OK, so now I've had the £1 cheque to the Harbour Master returned. Letter from Leisure Services chap, very pleasant, well worded, but clear that they want nothing more to do with the situation. In essence, we should've paid the parking fee at the time, now it's over to A S Services. He apologised for the inconvenience too!
So lovely peeps who know better than I and may be braver, just let sleeping dogs lie until they roll over and start sending more letters? Seems the easiest way. I don't care to start a campaign, or try to make big changes at the mo... Comments, as usual, most welcome.
Oh, and I'm not a 'newbie'! I've been a thrift-bunny for donks and following lovely Martin for ages. Hmph!0 -
So the landowner has retrospectively allowed you to park on his land for free on that occasion.
Now let the PPC waste a few quid on letters and stamps.0 -

As Alexis says! They have allowed you to park for free and have rejected your reaosonable offer. You've done all you can - and all any Small Claim judge would expect - and since you never saw any signs from the PPC when you parked their 'claim' would be irrelevant.
It won't go to Court though so just ignore the PPC letters.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Or you could email them the scan of your letter with permission to park there from the company who own the land, and state that now the situation is over you expect them to stop demanding money from you, and any further contact will be deemed harassment and reported to the police. Also make a complaint to the BPA if they refuse to stop demanding money of you want a laugh.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors.
