Evening all
Welcome sammy246 let us know how you get on over the week, the first one is always the hardest.
I too watched supercrimpers last night. I love these kind of programmes but I agree the food challenge didn't seem that hard. Looking at their cupboards they could probably have made dinner for a week from that lot.
I agree some of the tips were good (I didn't know about the 20p for tyres one) but some of the stuff is just a bit silly, their cushions looked a bit strange. Maybe I am a bit conservative but just using one bit of material would have been fine or at least pick material that matches not some random pattern and leopard print. Also the tea towel for the back look naff you could tell it was a tea towel!
Any spends today were from groceries so nothing to report for this challenge. Going to my friends for Burns night tomorrow so that should be fun but first to the gym in the morning.
Happy hump for tomorrow all.Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

I'm suddenly faced with an interesting option, what do you think? Bear in mind that currently, I'm miles away from everything, however lovely house and my own bathroom (okay, teeny shower room, but STILL!)

Morning all
It looks like spends are going to be very tight this week. I went for my eye test yesterday and I needed new glasses as my eyesight is a bit worse (no surprise and I hate my current glasses). So £75 spent in Boots but that is 2 pairs of glasses. I'm not counting the eye sight test as I used a £10 voucher and I'm claiming the rest of it back from work.
Sun - £2.50 papers + groceries but that is out of my budget
Mon - NSD
Tues - £75 glasses + £3.20 parking + £2.30 soda at concert.
Total - £83/£100. oh dear I think I'm going to be over budget this week.0 -
