I'm not doing anything yet.
I hope to find a kind soul to fetch compost for me at the weekend (I'm ill at the mo). If I can, I'll plant some carrots & onions to add to what's already been done.
I'm avoiding checking the seeds I've already planted. If I start, I'll end up checking on them daily & start moaning to all & sundry that nothing has sprouted yet/frost got them or something or another...It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
My aubergines have sprouted after 3 weeks above the boiler! 3 weeks!!! I'd given up. Oh and I decapitated a yellow stuffer seedling by being a klutz. Motto for the day - don't be a klutz.
Oh and my marigolds are in the blowaway and it looks like they have all germinated. I have about 10 babies poking their heads up.Well behaved women rarely make history.0 -
My comfrey's showing itself:

If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

We have a massive Scariad Fly problem, they are all over the compost in the garden. The OH opened a bag of Compost today and nearly 10 million give or take a couple flew out.So we'll have to put the whole bag and contents in a black sack and take to the tip.
Also a Blackbird was scoffing my worms,I need those worms!Debt Free Date:10/09/2007 :j :money:0 -

Weather has been unusually mild and it seems to have triggered quick growth in some plants. Sadly it's done naff all for my pepper seeds.Debt Free Date:10/09/2007 :j :money:0

I wouldn't be complaining about flowers on your chillies, mine have only just shucked their seed cases, I wish mine were where yours are

I would like to come join yall
I've never grown anything before, but now I am back from London and have a garden I want to grow as much as I can! We bought 6 stawberry seedlings from the garden centre and have put them up in hanging baskets on the side of the house. After that I decided I would be enthusiastic and spent £25 online buying a variety of seeds. Now I am just itching for them to arrive so I can figure out how and where to grow them
No doubt I will be coming here to ask for lots of tips and advice
Loving reading all about your growing for now while I wait!0
