That was a deliberate mistake, I was testing your knowledge:D:o
It's been a long day, off to make a cuppa and watch the walking dead.0 -
Was eyeing up slug pellets when customer chappie standing next to me recommended Eraza slug killer. I bought some and today I have dozens of slimey dead bodies lying in amongst my toms and cucs.
I feel slightly bad. But not bad enough to not use it again.
Very effective stuff.
£2.99 in Home Bargains, if you've got one nearby. :money:"We could say the government spends like drunken sailors, but that would be unfair to drunken sailors, because the sailors are spending their own money."

Still raining, and I've got a leak in the flat roof above the sofa I discovered last night. Not sat on the sofa since Gardeners world and I'm guessing it's been there since then as the sofa is very wet.
So now I have rain indoors too:(0 -
Aw annie, that's not good.
Sorry things aren't going well right now. xHerman - MP for all!0 -
Aw annie
((hugs))
The slugs had been munching away at my Potatoes that had already been damaged in the wind so I've emptied the bag and will just keep the other two bags going. I managed to salvage 10 very small potatoes so I'm quite pleased reallyyesterday I also got rid of the lettuce which was rotting away (I'm obviously a great gardener :rotfl:) but managed to save enough healthy lettuce for a salad which I'll be having soon!
So yeah, I lost things but I have plenty to replace them so I'm feeling a lot better about it all now. Oh, and my tomatoes are perking up a little...Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -
Has anyone used those little creatures that feed off slugs. (I cant remember the name of them tho) they are very small and apparently when there are no slugs to eat they die back themselves. Very bio and no chemicals. Was thinking of getting some but would like to know a bit more about them first. (and remember the name as well!)0

They are called nematodes. My friend uses them and feels they are very effective! Here's a link:

:jIt hasn't rained since 3pm and none due till Friday :j
At last, 48 hours none stop is too much, my poor little garden can start to drain a bit, and my sofa dry out, shame I'm not at home to work in the garden but never mind.0 -
I've just been outside and wish i hadn't bothered.
nevermind, weather forecast should be improving soon for the olympics right?0
