I can't remember where I got my online raspberries from, but most places I thought would be fine.
I've got Joan J, a brilliant raspberry to have. But an autumn one, if you have the space, you might want to think about a summer one as well.

Is £5 too dear for a raspberry cane?? I thought it was so didn't buy it. It's the only cane I've seen (apart from the one I thought was dead in Aldi :o) so am I too late for this year do you think?? I don't really want to order one online.

    Poundland. ;)
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

I've just been reading on line about how May is supposed to be the coldest for 100 years. :(

I have no idea what I'm going to do with the plants I have that are ready to go outside. They will all need potted on again into bigger pots and I have no room.

I curse my impatience. Why did I sow things so early. :(

I'm in the same boat. Been shifting things around in the greenhouse and making covers with bubblewrap for another few weeks and dont know what I'll do then when I need room for another 80 or so pots for my Runner Beans. Going to try 2 lots of runners this year sown a month apart and see if I get to pick younger beans for longer.

After much thought & consideration I've decided that the forecasters will probably be wrong. They usually are...

And why can I not get any flower buckets here in London? tried, sainsburys/lidls/co-op/tesco and all say they are returned.:(

Do you not have a Morrisons near you? They do have them in London, not many and not that near, but it was worth my while travelling the 5 miles or so to get 18 last year.

It does say Midlands though, not down as far as the Cotswolds. Must be someone up there grieving for poor old "Wolves".

    DON'T PANIC

    1.........Its the Daily Mail
2.........It's 1 amateur forecaster (does have a physics degree) Piers Morgan who runs a private weather forecasting company.
3.........If he is right it could be just the east coast for 3 days or so and the rest of the month is normal.
Doesn't mean he won't be right but he also said we'd have another very cold winter (along with others)........and we didn't.

It's one of the joys of gardening, no 2 years are ever the same ;)

Keep calm and carry on gardening:D

Ah, I still love em John, in spite of everything. Just got lucky enough to get a ticket for this weekends game. As it is on a sunday, I can go, as it doesn't clash with bowls.:)
