What an awful experience for you Dawn.
We had similar experience a few years back when our dog got attacked by alsatians. When we reported it to dog warden we were told that as it hadn't attacked humans they couldn't do anything! Hate to think what would have happened if it ever did and they'd had the chance to stop it then.
Hope you're all OK?Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

Bull terriers can be very dangerous. Our dog was attacked by one a while ago. When I reported it, the dog warden said he could prosecute, but I'd have to identify either the dog or the owner in court, on oath, and I didn't think I could. They weren't familiar to me - I'd never seen them before - and at the time I was thinking about my dog and not about being able to identify the other dog later. Please do talk to your neighbour. If they're going to keep the dog either on the lead or muzzled, then fine, but otherwise I really think you should report them. Just think how you would feel if you did nothing, and then you heard a few months down the line that it had killed or seriously injured a child.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

I haven't been on for a little while, and am embarrassed at people's concern
You are all so lovely :A
I am ok, so are OH and dog, and I am busy at work, as ever.... and had a spendy couple of weeks
No OPs this month, and we are even overdrawn for the first time for a few years
Helped DGS out with his driving course, paid insurances etc for OH's trip, but still not sure where it has all gone
Perhaps the additional regular saver, plus other recent expenses were a bit much
Must sort it out though
Still, it is payday next week, and some really good news....
OH has received his pension details, and it really is going to happen. He will get enough as a lump sum to pay off the remaining mortgage, and a little bit over :j:j:j:j:j
He will also get his pension of course
It is by no means massive, as he never earned a big wage, but certainly better than nothing
He will carry on doing his self employed bits though, as he enjoys doing them.
And this will happen in early October, just after his 60th birthday, and before my 59th
Still no wiser as to what job I will have after the restructure - no compulsory redundancies though, so I will still have one. Not sure if I am pleased about that or not :rotfl:
Had a bit of a result today. We went to MrS to do the shopping, for a change. I intended to use up my nectar points, so decided to stock up a bit. We got to the stage where all the shopping had been put through the checkout, and just as the assistant was about to tell us how much to pay, there was some kind of power outrage and the system went down. Gradually the tills rebooted - but ours didn't. The manager asked the checkout assistant and us if we could remember how much the bill was. The assistant explained it had gone down just before it came up. Anyway, the result was that the manager asked if we were happy to pay £60 for our shopping as it was going to take some time to get the till working again, and our shopping had already been through, and we agreed.
When we got home we realised that it was probably more like £80
Felt a little bit guilty, but it wasn't our fault (or the checkout assistant's, so he wouldn't get into trouble) and I guess Mr S can probably afford it :rotfl: 0 -
Nice one :T, no need to feel bad, their fault, their loss
. A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
