Have a look for yellow stickers!
My local coop is tiny and no good for reductions, but they had loads of their posh sausages with an offer that said any 2 for £5  printed on it, but yellow stickered to £1.25 each, which I thought was an okay price for "meaty" sausages.
Actually my DD and grandson prefer cheap sausages without a lot of meat :rotfl:0 -

Everyone is so patient with me (thank you, you lovely ladies and maybe gents?:rotfl::rotfl:) so with perseverance we will get there in the end. Also just found out from SueP19 that shoes means b00ts so thanks for that too.:T:T
Can I just ask (sorry if it was in an earlier thread but must have missed it) but where do you get the £15 worth of shoes points from please?[/QUOTE]
It's buy 3 Max Factor mascaras from Boots, 3 for the price of 2 AND 1500 worth of points, great deal if you use them anyway.

hi all good evening!
very informative thread...i have never heard about 2nd purse challenge ever before.0 -
We're off to !kea today to look for a new bed:jWhen we first got here we lived off of freecycle-and our bed is the last thing in the house needs replacing before its all new-very liberating.
Whilst we're there Im going to take my paperwork into C0stc0 to get a card and have a wander round.Im dying to see if I can get nappies and formula cheaper than the SM.Just had a look in my pencil bag purse and discovered I still have £40 in two of the kids sleeves:T and I get paid half my pay on Tuesday-I get DLA every 4 weeks and then the household budget from DH's salary at the end of the month.
ETA:Kerri who is it you do surveys for?Ive been meaning to ask.0 -
Wow, the thread has really moved on since I was last here
.
It's been a really busy week with work etc, and I've lost track of where I am with my second purse, so I'm going to draw a line and start again.
I have a good amount of stock stashed away which I will draw from until payday. My grocery budget is low but should last til the end of the month.
Anyway, to start my 2nd purse again, I bought a 2ltr bottle of peps1 from MrS for £1 this week, and will be charging myself 40p a glass. I'm keeping it in work to have a glass with my lunch. I usually buy a can, so this is better. So, 2 x glasses this week = 80p back in 2nd purse.

Thanks Fozzie for the link, just had a quick look over it and it looks like they have realised their glitch and taken that offer off. Am going into town today so will have a look anyway to see if they have changed it in my local store, but well done to all of those who managed to get the points - bargain! Nothing quite like getting a bargain is there?:T:TWhen you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling.
