jakes-mum my husband used to be like that, with no family history, but was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 36.

Hi Rosielady, I shall add you straight away :) do you have a set item you'd like to have as your goal? Some of us also have setup shop names for fun, so you're welcome to put your thinking cap on if you'd like.
Welcome to the thread and happy bargain hunting. Beating the SMs at their own game ;)

Just found the butter dish is on rainforest :D going to save up my SB rainforest vouchers for it.

Just wondered how long it takes you to earn a rainforest SB voucher?

Rosielady - Rainforest (also known as 'the river' on some threads) is Amaz0n :)

Big shop done at Mr T this morning - total before my discount voucher was £71.55, which wasn't bad as I was aiming for as close to £70 as possible.
After discount this came to £61.55, so I've done some spreadsheet number crunching this afternoon to apply the discount around the whole shop (as a percentage discount).

I then deducted the easter eggs I bought as they come from a 'presents' budget, which left me with £56.96 to account for.

I've immediately charged most of the remaining cost to my grocery budget, as it's all stuff I know for sure I'll be using (or at least opening to use some) in the next few days. The remaining £12.23 I've "borrowed" from my 3rd purse so, after adding that to the safflower oil I ordered just after midnight (which has already been despatched) and the 2 boxes of mini Shr3dded Wheat I purchased from Mr M this afternoon, the value of my 3rd purse has dropped by £30.74

Despite doing this my grocery budget still looks sick this month - just £29 left of my £101.50 budget, and we're not even half way through the month (although what I've charged to my grocery budget should get me to that point, and hopefully a bit beyond.......)

I know what you mean. My budget this month was increased to around £225 as I had a bulk order of catfood to buy before I started this challenge, and I have £23ish left....with 10 days till payday. Realistically, I know it's enough, but it's making me worry!!

Meal planning will have to be my friend....
