*nervously enters room* hi all erm well iv been lurking on this thread since march and keep thinking i want to try that BUT couldnt get my head round it at all :o however at about 1am this morning i had a revelation that i can and should still budget for my usual weekly shop and then buy extras on top to build my stock (please correct me if im wrong) i have a teeny tiny budget of £40 per week but hopefully could put £2 into my 2nd purse each week. please can i join in (think iv got the concept sorted now)
p.s. sorry for the long post feeling slightly daft that i cant figure it out :rotfl:

Welcome to SPing lynnsey30 - great to haave you with us!! :T

ok thats it my shop has been...... started!!!! however i bought the multibuy out of my normal grocery budget so please can someone advise me what i should do now lol do i put the £2 i was originally going to use in the 2nd purse or????? (sorry confused already)

I would just donate what you bought to your shop and then when you use the product, put the money into your 2nd Purse, at whatever cost you have decided on.

I had a bit of a purse shuffle and now am all up-to-date with SP!

I have decided to stick to £30 as a SP float because I have so much in store, I think meat orders are the only thing I am likely to bulk buy, so no need to have too much cash floating around in the house.

3rd Purse is already back up to £66 and I have spent LOADS already :o

Welcome to all new SPers, if I missed saying hello when you joined, hope you all find Motherships system works for you and helps you cope with lifes expenses! :T

Yep HB is H0me bargains, umm I have no idea what B&M stands for as that was what the shop was called :rotfl:. Its basically a cheap food and home items shop, and they sell quite a bit that is close to their Best Before Dates, though my curry was BB Apr 13  I was expecting July 12 when I picked it up :rotfl:

    Oh dear :o

I have placed a mahooosive AF order (with the help of DH) and my 2nd purse is yet again into negative figures to the tune of £54 odd :o

I have tho' bought enough snacks/biscuits to last the entire summer holidays (and would only be buying them at extortionate prices at MrTs otherwise) plus some pasta/rice and cous cous to accompany meals over the coming month.

Just got to eat ourselves back into profit now :rotfl:

    Off to update sig.

Don't seem to have either in Reading so I'll have to make do with Lido & Wilko & Mr A.

    Hello all

I'm back after a very long absence so will be starting again soon as haven't been keeping track or SP-ing for a couple of months due to being in my wedding bubble....

I will try and do a proper stock take before the end of the month and really kick things of again from August. I know that I'm running very low on loo rolls now :rotfl:

The good news is that I left my weekly £10 standing order running so if nothing else, I have £110 in my SP account to spend on bargains :p

    How is everyone?

    Helen xx
