thanks jakes-mum was thinking of just putting the £2 in the 2nd purse because i normally overbydget anyway so its normally pretty easy to work multibuys etc into the grocery budget but then i fugure that 2nd purse money will build if for if im struggling 1 week???

Just popped in to say a quick hi as haven't been around for a bit. Hello and welcome to all new 2nd pursers:wave:, you will love it on here!

My stock is doing well , thanks to a trip to Costco last week. The offers have now changed and I will probably get 1.5kg Ainsley Harriot golden rice for £2.99, some Coastal Mature cheddar £4.79 per KG and maybe the Fairy Liquid which is £6.28 for 6 x 750ml bottles. I won't get the loo roll as we haven't opened the last stash yet!! Might pop over next weekend.

Another lurker here! Have been following the thread for a while but haven't joined yet as I often fall by the wayside on challenges! However, I've had a shop for a month or so and it's just about working! Have a lovely mum who bulk buys from Suma, and gives me loads of stuff, so my shop is quite full.

DH is also onboard and has set up shelves in garage for me. I love spreadsheets but never update them, so I write on a whiteboard what I've used and total at it at end of the week.

I am planning on doing a Donald Russel order due to all the recommendations on this thread. Does anyone want me to put them down as the person who recommended me? PM if you do!

4 x Nivea shower gel - 90p each
2 x radox mens shower gel - £1 each
Payback £1.25 each

We go through a lot of cereal and shower gel in this house :eek: 2nd purse still in negative figures (I do things virtually so can get away with this creative accounting) but will be back into credit next week I'm sure! Off to update sig.
