Who wants to join me in recommending Mothership for the New Years Honours List - seriously Mothership - you could run the country :A

Definitely! We certainly wouldn't be in the financial mess we're in if Mothership ran the country - or at least the Budget! :T:T:T

Absolutely - Mothership as chancellor of the exchequer!!! I'll vote for her. On the sp front - another £10 to the third purse so thats all good - I love this system.
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

Has anyone noticed any good offers in Te$co at all?

I seem to have two Clubcard accounts (despite having linked my old one to my CC credit card) and on the inactive one they've sent me a voucher for £13 off when I spend £90 and that seems too good to waste!

I have £50 in the SP and could take some money from the third purse in honour of such a good discount!

They have loads of B1G1F's at the moment. Check their website and make a list before you go of things your going to use. You could make a good profit for your purse buying mainly B1GIf's and offers.

My OH was really tickled with the comments about me running the country LOL, he can just see stashes of foods everywhere :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:, he thinks more people should know about it, as there are families out there struggling to make ends meet.
I told him about my 'Secret stash' , he's delighted, he thought I was still spending £600 or thereabouts on groceries, especially since we have two freezers full of DR meat. I told him I was determined to have £10k in the wee ISA by April. What that means in real terms is I have to save a little over £300 per month from now on. I've managed to reduce my Fuel Bills to £169 per month down from over £400, so I will pinch the money from there :) As £200 of my grocery budget has been allocated there. So I can still have my £200 per month for groceries.

I'm out in the garden today, planting all the bedding plants I got really cheap from M@rris@ns around £1 per pack , the cheapest I've EVER found, a great selection too.

I have my list for Te$co now:

Buying items for £88.80 (will make up to £90 with reductions/fruit/veg)

Profit will be £19.55 (plus the £13 reduction from my voucher) although it will take me an AGE to buy them all back :D

    Just to check though...

    I'm buying the following items:

    Hairdye x 3 £10.98
    Faceash x 3 £7.98
    Moisturiser x 3 £11.90

All of them are on 3 for 2 on the healthcare promotion. Will they just deduct three facewashes as they're the cheapest item? Should I put them through in batches of three and have them subtotal or will they deduct one of each item as they're bought in threes? Does that make sense?!

Hoping to go and buy all this at lunchtime, so any help would be appreciated!!

My voucher was for £13 off when I spent £90.

Got to the checkout and my total was £89.16 - so I quickly grabbed some yoghurts! Final spend was £76.86 :D

Just need to work out what is SP spends and what is normal groceries :)
