Got a few baby wipes and nappies which I didn't buy from SP but I'm tempted to put them in the stock cupboard and put 50p into SP when I need pack of wipes. That means when baby arrives I can build up a bit more of an SP balance to buy baby offers. Does that make sense?! Or is that cheating as I didn't use SP to buy them? Other mums what do you think?
Hope everyone has a good bank holiday weekend :T
I would definitely do that!MunniMuncha wrote: »I do that all the time, but there is no right or wrong way to do SP'ing - it is your shop, your rules. So go for it and you will soon be well on your way to money going into your 3P
Like MM says - what suits YOUR SP is all that matters!
For example, I charge myself for puddings or ice-cream, I dont buy them from SP unless they are a good offer, but paying BACK SP builds up my balance and makes me more accountable for eating naughty stuff0 -
so....it's now May and I am determined to make my SP work this month:D i am going to make a list of everything I use over the month then work out how much I owe the SP.
acl2009 I started the SP a couple of months ago but for various reasons it didn't work out but i have still been stocking up my shop using my GB. I am starting the SP again this month so will buy back my stock even though i didn't use the SP to buy it - does that make sense:rotfl: so I say go for it:Dsaving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

MunniMuncher, fozziebear and bunbun2....
Thanks for your replies. I'm now counting every single pack of baby wipes I've got as a SP item (and I've got ALOT!) and will pay SP 50p each time I take a new pack. Still um-ing and ah-ing whether to do same with the nappies, will see how it goes! Only 4 weeks to go until baby is due but still got time to stock up on some bits and pieces. I've been trying to buy 1 or 2 things each week with my GB so that I've got everything I need so will carry on doing this but put them into my shop!MFW £190,450/£141,1400 -
What does DR mean?:o:o
I know I could probably find out if I read back far enough, but 57 pages is a bit scary!:D It sounds very interesting! I've been looking at the Approved Food website this morning - that looks great, but I had to keep reminding myself that I don't NEED anything at the mo! I think what I'll do is wait until the start of next month, then look at AF before doing my stocking up at the SM.

I've been thinking since reading a post yesterday, and I think it will be easier to tot up what I'm buying from my store and pay SP retrospectively at the beginning of each month. That way I can keep the money electronically (I have a spare acc with a debit card that is SP2 now) and keeps tabs on what I'm spending
Spent £15 from SP2 yesterday on some offer chicken for the freezer... Will be looking into DR tomorrow too as this seems like a good idea... SP2 has £5.30 left in it, but will be invoicing my Groc budget at least £25 on pay day alreadyVSP: #640 -
