I've added up my stockpile, including stuff I bought before starting the 2nd purse officially, and it totals £87.15! :j Spend so far is £39.96, although I can't remember what I paid for some of the stuff I already had. I don't think I'll be spending more from the 2nd purse this month, unless I see an unmissable bargain!

I'm off to look up Donald Russell ... :D

I had a girlie day at the shops today with friends and took £50 out of the 3rd Purse with the intention of buying myself treats, a dress, undies, candles, tops or anything I fancied......:D

Ended up just buying 2 Yankee votives and a Body Shop foot cream for a total of £10 ;)

Of course if I HADN'T had the 3P money, I would have found LOADS of stuff I wanted!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Popped into M&S food hall (very rare event for me) and looked for a foodie treat........

    Nothing I fancied!! :rotfl:

Ending up getting 5 x 20 colour catchers at 99p a packet from £2.99 and 6 jars of fancy sauces reduced from £1.99 to 49p and since they were such bargains, SP bought them and I will buy them back at some later stage.

I am bound to need lots from Sallys Stores over the B/H weekend, so will settle up with that next week.

    Hi everyone,

Made an AF order last night which wiped out the 2nd purse completely and some.....

I made a note that I owed GC money and have already used items from Cazco to the value of the overspend today - loving this system :j

Will wait until Tuesday to pay the money over as we are off on the Bluebell walk tomorrow so will need treats to keep us going :)

My totals reflect what my stock will be once DR and AF have arrived - very happy with that.

DSis and DBIL came round today and DD asked if she could have some crisps from Cazco. They both looked confused so I ended up explaining the system to them. They are both self employed right now and struggling to make ends meet so it would definitely work for them. Hope they give it a try.

    Have a good weekend all.

I stocked up my shop today with cheese from Lid*

I told OH that he has to write down everything he uses from my shop (he does most of the cooking). he just raised his eyebrows as if to say what a faff. he is half way there by buying stock at reduced price but not quite there when it comes to buying it back

Morning all! Welcome to Chelseabun and Bunbun :wave:.

    I've had quite a good week with some SP purchases using a £5 Aldi voucher and a £5 M & S voucher.

    Aldi

    6 x tins kidney beans @ £0 buy back 15p
    4 x tins sweetcorn @ £0 buy back 35p
    4 x packs custard @ £0 buy back 40p

    M & S Dine in Deal

    1 x Gammon joint @ £0 buy back £3.00
    1 x fruit pud @£0 buy back 50p

    ASDA

    6 x Flora buttery @£1.00 buy back £1.25

    Tesco

    2 packs Activia yoghurts @ £1.50 buy back £2.00

So I've had a busy couple of days stocking up. My stock is now £237.51 and the SP has £8.88. My new budget starts on Tuesday and I will be paying in £40.00 (I'm allocating £10.00 per week at the mo).

Hopefully I will be ordering some more DR meat next week (only one pack of mince left:eek:) and I fancy some of the bread flour that Mothership recommended from Amazon.:D

I spent another £8.50 today from SP - all stuff I buy back at a good profit including Wotsits from Lidl who have reduced their Wotsits with 50% extra free to £1.75 for 15 packs :T

I am keeping a running total of what I owe to Sallys Stores but cant afford to pay myself until the end of the week ;)

My signature is up to date!
  • Im trying to decide what limit to set SP2 at, I was thinking maybe £50, but adding £20pm to get my store started properly.....

Also, what's the cost of using something from the freezer? 50p? £1?

Ok I've just gone back through the last few pages and I'm absolutely jealous and amazed at how well everyone is doing with their 3p's :) I've had a mess up with my work expenses, so I can't stocktake until that money materialises, then hopefully I'll be able to start to see money flowing in the right direction, feel a bit stuck atm though :( am just eating my way through stock knowing I need to pay the purses back, and not buying anymore until I've done that.

Front page updated and hope you're all having a lovely bank holiday.xx
