    Annie,

My GC budget is £100 for next month, but I'll add £10 to my 2nd purse.
    So...
    1st purse: £100
2nd purse: £10 + remainder from this month

Buy 1 tin of beans from stockpile
    1st purse: £99.36
2nd purse: £10.64 + remainder from this month

The best way I've explained it is the shop one:
Shopkeeper has a float (£10 a month up to £100)
Shopkeeper buys stock and sets prices (bulk buy and record what you will charge)
Customer goes to shop and buys product from their grocery budget.
Money goes into the shopkeepers till (2nd purse)
Shopkeeper has over £100 in their till, so moves excess to cash office (3rd purse)

    Love your analogy :j:j

  • I need to post something as I'm feeling left out :D.

I've made a little start by checking out what I can put into my stockpile immediately...so I have, 1 pack of noodles, 2 tubes toothpaste, a (mostly used) large bottle of len0r concentrate, probably enough to make 2 normal bottles up and a huge box of washing powder as yet unopened.

I now need to assign buy-back prices to these and put them in my spreadsheet. Next week (payday) I'll add my £10 and really get going...can't wait :p

I'm itching to get going too, but only about £10 left till Friday so I really do have to wait! I keep seeing posts about washing powder on offer which is killing me, would love to stock up on that but I'm sure there will be something else to stock up on when payday comes.
