hello!
I've not been up to much (SP wise) so haven't posted muchhave just put another order in for march from AF. £43 with delivery. Have lots of white vinegar, oust (descaler), noodles & cous cous coming as well as lots of other little bits
will work out what is for SP empire & what is for normal cupboard when it arrives and change sig accordingly
I also got 2 rain jackets from there for my dd & ds2 :T i googled the brand for a review and it was all good so i ordered- £5.99 each and from the website they usually sell them on they were £35  would've got a few more for pressies but was 1 per customer
BTW: I didn't realise about the coucous on af being in cases!!!!!!! I ended up with about 50 packets of them :eek: still they taste goodand at that price i can't complain even if they did take over my cupboard for a while :rotfl:.......i logged on for my order today and it had 'low stocks' written next to it :rotfl::rotfl: it must be down to us lot i reckon

LOL I was shouting at the TV last night. That's not bulk-buying, it's just buying a bigger box from the supermarket!!! But I suppose they have to appeal to a wider audience - I don't think that many people would want to do what we do. It makes perfect sense to me, but most of my friends don't think it's 'worth' doing what I do... even when I tell them how much I'm saving!!! People are strange.
Agree with you there Scrabbles - they all think I am mad (no change there then!:rotfl::rotfl:) and think it's not worth the effort, but when I was telling one particular friend who was particularly sarcastic about my 2nd purse, is now asking me what AF is all about and how does she go about ordering stuff from there
edit - OH doesn't understand it either, but then I think it's because I can't explain it to him properly, as haven't got it right in my head yet
pps - somebody asked on here (sorry can't find the post now to see who it was) about the lucky box with AF. I have had a look on their website and can't see it now, but will keep an eye out if I find it and will post where it is on their website. HTHWhen you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying!:rotfl:

. Please don't be worried about asking any questions, I have been doing the 2nd purse for about 3 weeks now and still am trying to get to grips with it - all I know is that in that time I had £56 profit (which has now been ploughed back into Munnimart) so it works!:rotfl: The lovely peeps :Aon here have been very patient with me, and I am still asking questions:eek:
Mothership - wondered where you have been lately, missed yer:(. Hope you get back up and running soon;)
Savvy - what is M&M please? Is this another online shop I haven't yet heard about?
Had a response back from Donald Russell re the 20% offer and like Fozzie said earlier, it was because the 20% off is only on full priced items. Told them that their welcome letter was misleading as it didn't actually state that, and the lady did mention that they were looking at changing the wording as had had quite a few phone calls regarding this. So have ordered for next month and used Mothership's code (thank you) and remembered to go through Quidco too;)

The AF lucky boxes come and go out of stock, they def are NOT always there.......sometimes they announce them on their emails, other times they just seem to appear!
I have had very duff ones and fabby ones, but if someone is putting in an order anyway, they are certainly worth a go for a squid :T0 -
This is doing my head in lol, the pages keep fliking all over the place. And I cant do long posts , so if I seem a bit quiet you all know what it is. I cant update my signature either.
Ah! good its letting me edit my post. I saw superscrimpers, wasn't impressed with the bulk buying part, pasty pasta and sawdust tea bags, tried those, no likey. I have a card for Macro and costco, and don't buy much in bulk from them unless its a special offer.
You can't beat the buying power of the big SM's, and they have to change their offers reg and make them half decent to 'pull' the customers in. And there we will all be waiting to pounce with our full purses LOL.
I'm so pleased you are all getting to grips with how it works now, aye its magic LOL P-O-U-N-D-S-T-R-E-E-E-T-C-H-I-N-G at its best.1st Purse £114.19 Monthly GB:rotfl::j:wave::j:rotfl:

I have been looking at AF after reading about all your bargains. I am confused how it works though - doesn't take much! how does the postage work and what does discounted postage mean?

Bunbun, I have only put in one order, but I think they weigh the items that you order and for the first 25kg the postage is £5.25 (my order was less than this so not sure what it is after you go over the 25kg). Hopefully someone else can help you with that one!!:D
Discounted postage means that if you order that item then you get the discounted postage in the price. For example I ordered 30 bags of Kell0gs Special K chocolate bits and the price was £6.99, but then my postage for all my items (under 25kg) was free, so that actually made the item £1.74 for 30 bags - hope you understand what I mean and I haven't confused you more?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Dont forget that if you are paying postage on AF, make the best use of it and order enough to take you just up to the weight limit.
If you are paying to have 25kg delivered, you just as well order 25kg (or whatever it is these days)!
I have spent many a happy hour putting stuff in and out of my basket to get the most possible stuff in my parcel :rotfl:0
