Ive been missing the last day or so-but have done some shopping today, along with facing one of my biggest fears (and overcoming it).its opened a whole new world for me and i cant wait to tell you all about it as its the second purse that drove me to it.
I still need to get the boys showered and then Im heading off to MrA when DH gets home for easter eggs (before they're all gone and so I can put them away with kids iin bed so as not to see). And the Ill catch up with the thread and tell you lovey ladies all about it.0 -
Another veggie here
but with OH, DD and DS when hes home, eating meat I still have to buy it, if it was up to me I would make everyone veggie meals but with my lot theres not a chance. My oldest DD is also veggie but left home this year so Im outnumbered now
Growing old is inevitable
Growing up is optional0 -
Sue can you remember who I was supposed to pm my details to so they could recommend me to DR? I know at my first attempt they had already recommended someone else and I can't find the other post now? It all went a bit DR recommendation mad at one point didn't it? lol :rotfl:

I'm only just veggie, but I bought my parents the mince last month and Dad has said it's sooo much better than the SM stuff so I've told him I'll order him more when he needs it
He's going to let me know how long it takes for them to eat them, as no point buying too much that they can't freeze.

Still not gone to MrA yet,DS2 in bed and DS1 been given his chickeny call (an egg timer that he switches to 15 minutes, 15 minutes before bed...when chickeny says so, its time for bed) DD not woken yet and been asleep since about 17:00 so im not sure if i should go quick, wait for her to wake and then go/wait until tomorrow (which I dont want to do as I want an NSD tomorrow) or if I should wae her and then go.I guess Ill wait for DS1 to go down and then decide.
So my shopping today...I went to C0stc0 after dropping DS1 to school.I spent £41.61 in total. £26.87 was on easter eggs (including a box of 38 Kinder eggs for £15.99-woks out to 53p an egg)I know they're on 2 for £1 at MrA and MrT,but i cant see myself getting 38 of them there. Also got a bag of 40 hollow eggs all wrapped in pretty bright coloured foil, and 12 cream eggs for 3.99.
Easter was always a big deal for us when I was a kid and now that DS2 is big enough for chocolate I want to have a "proper" egg hunt.Last yar I left it too late so DS1 didnt get much and didnt even have to look for them.
The second purse spent £7.98 on 6x1L long life semiskimmed milk(£3.19).DH is pretty fussy on the milk but I thought it would be handy to have some in for [STRIKE]those lazy weekend days when we CBA to get dressed [/STRIKE] emergencies. And 3.99 on 500g of grated parmesan cheese.i still need to pt them on the spreadsheets and work out profit-but I know there wil be profit.
As for my fear stuff...I have cyclothymia, its a member of the bipolar family and I take medication for it-but with it comes anxety and panic atacks. It doesnt manifest often in public as DH is ood at spotting it and reassuring me before it hets up-and DS1 is familiar with the early signs and often asks if I need to borrow some of his brave (he's 5).When I dont have them with me I just dont do thiings that I think will get me.
I live on the wrong side of the river to get to c0stc0/!ke@ etc without using the tunne on the way there and the bridge on the way back-so Ive just never gone there on my own.
when DH tok me there on the weekend he pointed out all the safety measures and stuff (things like not changiing lanes and the "big vehicle escorts"-and conveniently (for him) we left to come home after dark-he cant drive in the dark so I had to drive...which wasnt too bad as he was with me.Today I decided to try and face it on my own...and I did,i took a wrong turn after coming through the tunne and ended up on the bridge and having to go around and do the tunnel again, and instead of giving up and going home-I went back and started again.and I loved what was on the other side of the river:j and the fact that I could take my time and browse (fud loads of stuff Ill be going back for).DS1 has clubs after school on Wednesday and so Ive decided that will be my "galivanting day"next week Im going to go to !ke@ for those add a shelf gadgets I mentioned before and the week after that I think Ill do The R@nge for bits to make easter baskets:D
so there you go Mothership and Kerri, did you think you would be offering CBT when you started sharing second purse?i cant thank you enough.0 -
