Aldi Fresh Salmon fillets 240g - marked £2.69, but they only charged me £2.250

I bought their 'Everyday Value' Wholemeal Bread last week, I'd been buying Hovis, but decided I'd try it. Its slightly lower in calories (per 100g) than Hovis, and slightly higher in fibre, and at 45p a big loaf it's actually quite nice bread!0

The taste of the bread is ok I just find it goes off really quickly. I used
To like the part baked baguettes from there but nearly picked one up in there one day that had A massive spread of mould all over it right there on the shelf which has put me off0 -

Ironically the wholemeal I bought from Aldi last week was super fresh and lasted a whole week.
I don't normally buy their bread but as I'd had Seed Sensations Wholemeal going mouldy on me I thought I'd give it a try.0 -

Also, the Harbour Co marinated salmon fillets are delicious and cost just £2.89 but are £4.50 in the Co-op!0 -
Really? I LOVE Aldi's frozen chips. They're easily the tastiest and fluffiest ones I've had from any supermarket or any "brand" ones.
Give me decent chips fried in oil once a year and I'm happy.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I guess that what this thread proves is that taste is a totally subjective. The only opinion that counts is your own. Buy something once to try it. If you dont like it , dont buy it again0

As I've commented before, Aldi's sour dough white bloomer is head and shoulders above most supermarket bread - and it lasts very well. It's also extremely well priced (around £1 ISTR).
I can't speak for the 50p plastic stuff. Some bargains are no bargains at all!0
