Aldi voucher is this Thursday, maybe it was a different type of voucher because they are only valid for one week. O.o

  • Aldi's goats cheese and red onion tart is amazing! Their olives with feta are a bit poor.

A couple of Aldis near me the staff will not allow you to take the basket past the till.
Same here. The staff tell me that it's to prevent baskets getting nicked.

Dont buy oven chips very often - but was impressed by the Lidl "Harvest Basket" Chunky Chips i bought this week. Perfect with a bit of fried fish & mushy peas

We also always get those. Cheap aned nice. I panic if we run low as they are the emergency stock if I just can't rustle up anything else but burgers/fish and chips and the next shop 5 miles away is the coop which only sells McCain's at horrendous prices....
