I bought the jeggings from Aldi today (special buy) too short on the leg so not looking forward to return it - well the customers muttering 'hurry up' or 'joined the wrong queue'.

I normally am happy with my clothes purchases - shorts, jogging bottoms, pjs etc. Don't do my bra size, but a friend has a few of them and quite happy with them.

    I've tried it's ok..worth 49p.

The best i've tried is the vegetable rice lidl do Vetee brand, It's absolutely delicious! but it's not available all the time it's a special offer special price line. None available at the moment when it comes back I stock up on it. A defy anybody with tastebuds to dislike it.

    Best buys
    Lidl Energy drinks.
Lidl have BOGOF on some energy drinks in SOSP (special offer special price section) works out at 49p for 2 330ml cans. The usual cans 230ml I think are great at 30p each.

The triple choc cookies in the bakery are just superb!

w5 cleaning products are value for money and love the glass cleaner I use that for surfaces too.

    Fish fingers are great!

Not a fan of the cod or haddock lines Yuck!

    Choceur Rum, Raisin and Nut.

Died and gone to heaven with this...

Raisins really soaked in rum, chocolate is sooooo good. Full of nuts. Why did I ever pick it up as a Cmas treat?

I bought a bar today: it is delicious and I just could not stop eating it. I am now addicted and will have to get some more. I hate you for this...

The red bull look alikes in Aldi are good according to my OH. Aldi also do good breaded camembert and good pizzas both in frozen and fresh but the specialy selected ones. Taste like restaurant ones. The foccacia breads are also very good.

Bought a couple of mains LED R50 screw base lamps in Lidl today as an experiment. £5.99 ea. or 2 for £10. Very happy with light output/colour.
Just have to wait and see how long they last.Anyone have any comments on these?

My Aldi had some Wienerschnitzeln in the freezer section, pizza sized box absolutely massive, the box is marked XXL and they weren't joking. Ideal if you want something quick. Schnitzel is re-formed meat but good quality, tasted a bit like Quorn though.

Aldi have various Scottish bits on Special, I succumbed to the Dark Chocolate Gingers, presented in a see-through box. Very luxurious biscuits completely covered in a delicious dark choc.

Thanks for mentioning the jeggings were short, I'm 5'9 so they wouldn't have fitted, and I had earmarked them.

PS. I get a can of Red Bull looky-likey at the checkouts most weeks as a pick me up for cycling home with shopping, it's really good, much better than the price would suggest.
