What on earth are GMTV thinking about by asking "Do you think pyramid cash schemes are a good idea?". Of course they are not, they are a con. But of course that TV company knows all about extracting money from people. I'm surprised they didn't turn the question into a phone-in quiz at £1.50 a minute.

  • I think the whole GMTV report is really scary!! Are they trying to find a positive in all of this? As the bottom hasn't fallen out just yet everyone's on a high. I give it another couple of months and then there will be women crying on national tv, begging for this sort of thing to be stopped.

They're probably doing a bit of market research to see if it's worthwhile starting one to cover the loss from closing their scam-lines.

Similar concept really - "give us your dosh, coz you could be a winner (ho ho ho)"...

I have just seen this comment from an article on the "This Is Bath" website :-

"This is not a scam, it's not pyramid selling. No one person is in charge. no one person is at the top making a profit from anyone. Ladies invest their money and only take that sum of money to a payout evening.Men would disaprove as they find it hard to believe that people can be honest and trusted. I am waiting for my payout and only hope that ladies have not been put off by this adverse publicity.

    kate, bath"

Well Kate, don't hold you breath waiting for your payout. Do you think that there is some magic machine around that somehow produces new money from thin air? Of course there is not . The profit that some people are making is only at the expense of other people who are putting money in without any hope of receiving any back.

  • Apparently, the publicity has had exactly the opposite effect than was expected, more women are getting involved !

According to feedback i've recieved alot of waiverers have decided to go in as there are too many people saying its not a pyramid scheme for it to actually be one, and surely the police would have stopped it if there was...

I was quite shocked to find this out, are there really that many stupid gready people in the world ? Surley people can see its a pyramid scheme ?

Oh, I knew it would get to hampshire, one of my moles was at a meeting where one women introduced her friend from Bournmouth who was very interested in taking the scheme down there as no one had heard of it down there...

Well it will collapse eventually and I feel sorry for those to stupid to realize.
