mmmm thanks for that! I couldn't decide on what to do for dinner tonight but now there is a campbells soup rissotto bake in the oven bubbling away ;) Will be served with some defrosted danish meatballs from the freezer when it's ready :D

No definitely danish... I'm 100% sure that both my passport and birthcertificate state I'm danish...

And just because Ikea sells swedish meatballs please don't assume they have the only or best recipe for meatballs :) Us danes do some mean meatballs too ya know ;) And mine are better than Ikeas ;) They're home made for starters ;)

Thanks for the suggestions, much appreciated.

Love that Campbell's site, shame you can't register for recipes if you live in the UK. Love the mushroom stroganoff.

If you have a recipe for vegetarian meatballs then I'm all ears. I've been planning to work out how to make them for ages, once we shift the Quorn ones out of the freezer.

    V.Lucky PM'ed for that recipe. I want my Meat(less)balls !
  • I use the condensed soups all the time as sauces. Use the mushroom and a tomato for lasagne.

My friend today was raving about all the recipes shes got using these soups
Ive seen them in Tescos but havent ever brought them
I always thought soup was for eating not cooking with
She said her favorite was the mushroom one and using chicken with it
Ive had a look at the indexed collections thinking if they were that fab they would be there but I cannot find anything
    Am I being wound up?

no you are not being wound up.
Mushroom is my fav as a veggie, I add 1/2 a tin to pasta for a quick meal.
Just treat it as ready made sauce.

I use the mushroom one to make a chicken and mushroom pie, using left over chicken from the Sunday roast. I believe some people use the tomato one for a pasta bake or similar. But I have only ever used the mushroom for said pie and I can certainly vouch for that one.
