Sorting out my pantry and have 6 cans of Campbells Condensed mushroom soup. I keep on buying it when on offer at Home Bargains for around 30-35p a can, just didn't realise I had so many.
I use them for pasta bakes - but any other ideas for them, I am a veggie.
Thanks

Sorry didnt read that you're a veggie. I'll have another thinkA friend is someone who overlooks your broken fence and admires the flowers in your garden.0

put some sweetcorn, chopped pepers in the soup, fill some vol-auvent cases and voila!! warm in oven for about 10mins!
really nice and handy for lunches/tea'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
my mum used to brown some sausages and use the soup as a sauce...know you're veggie but I guess you could use vegetarian sausages. Somwtimes I think she put a dash of wine or port in there too."grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can and the wisdom to know it's me"

Hi V.Lucky,
Have a look at the Campbell Soup website.
If you click on 'Campbells kitchen' there is an option to use the recipe wizzard to search for recipes. There are lots of lovely recipes there that could be adapted to make them vegetarian.
Some things that I thought sounded nice are risotto, mushroom lasagne and mushroom stroganoff.

A mate of mine used it as a sauce for a veggie bake - leeks, brocollil, carrots, sliced leftover boiled spud, bit of cheese on top, an hour in the oven. It was delish.0

I would make a carbonara style pasta sauce adding extra mushrooms instead of bacon and grated parmesan on top.
I also use soup to make a veggie pie (any veggies you fancy) and roll some puff pastry on top.:T0 -
mmmm thanks for that! I couldn't decide on what to do for dinner tonight but now there is a campbells soup rissotto bake in the oven bubbling away
Will be served with some defrosted danish meatballs from the freezer when it's ready

I make a quorn and mushroom pie sometimes with them. Also use them for pasta, and quorn supreme with rice, usually adding mosre mushrooms and sweetcorn, and really any veg that I need to use. up0

It makes nice sauce to go over pasta twists.0

There's a really simple recipe on the back of one of them (IIRC, it's the asparagus) for a quiche/flan thing. I made it last year thinking it would be, at best, barely palatable and it was flaming gorgeous with a really nice texture. I reckon it would work really well with the mushroom soup. The asparagus version of the recipe might be online but from memory it's -
4 eggs
1 Savoury Flan case
Flour (forget how much or if it really was involved at all)
Cheese (100g ?)
1 tin condensed soup
And an oven
HTH,
