One of my favourite foods is using Campbells Soups.

Brown mince and onions , add some garlic , pinch chilli, some oregano. Add tin of Campbells Tomato and Tin Mushroom soup. Put in casserole dish in oven(or can micro , do on hob if prefer) cook some pasta. Mix it through and add some grated cheese to top and then bung in oven for 10 mins. It is lovely. I call it Marsetti, sister taught be recipe about 15years ago and still have it.

  • I make tagalatelli (SP)
    I boil enough for 5/6
    Brown some meat (bacon/mince/chicken etc)
    Some onion
    Some peppers /mushrooms etc
2 tins of soup (normally tomato and mushroom / chicken)
    1 tin of water
Bung it all in a dish and cover with cheese. Whack it in the oven and it always comes out fine. I never measure anything.
Lets get this straight. Say my house is worth £100K, it drops £20K and I complain but I should not complain when I actually pay £200K via a mortgage:rolleyes:
  • After reading this thread I found a tin of campbells tomato soup in the cupboard, and as its changing decided to have my last ever bowl of the original version with bread and butter. Its comfort food and reminds me of being a kid, when it used to be my favourite ever food!

    - but when getting the soup out of the tin (not even when opening it, but when actually dolloping it into the pan!) I managed to slice my index finger open! Doh!

Comfort food indeed - it made me feel blumming miserable!! and it was my last tin!
