Dodgy car dealership - Auto Bristol

After our old car was written off in a non fault motor accident my wife and I needed to buy another car. We found one we liked at Auto Bristol on St John's Lane in Bristol so went for a look. After deciding we wanted the car we completed the formalities and were advised that the car came with a 3 month warranty that covered anything related to the engine and the gearbox. This was not given to us in writing but the sales person advised that this was nothing to be alarmed about. About 10 days after buying the car I noticed an increasing patch of oil on my garage floor. I contacted Auto Bristol and they swiftly arranged for the car to go to their approved repairer. This is when things started to go wrong. The approved repairer was very helpful but it appeared that they were being told to just do a 'quick fix' by Auto Bristol in order to rectify the leak and save costs. Within a day of the fix the oil was still leaking and after some miscommunication and awaiting authority from Auto Bristol the car was eventually booked in for today 17th January 2012. I have today been told by Auto Bristol that the warranty we have for our car only covers the engine if it blows up! Any other engine problem is not covered. Basically we have been given false information at the point of sale and the warranty we have completely worthless. If this is the case you would have thought that they would have conveyed this when I first reported the problem 6 weeks ago. The matter is now in the hands of Trading Standards and I would recommend that anyone looking for a second hand car gives this company a wide berth.

There appears to be a lot of car companies who treat their customers the same. Not sure how they can keep getting away with it. What did Trading Standards advise??Slimming World Challenge 2017 0/30.5lb

M and B Car Sales M&B car sales K&T Car sales but still run by that bum KISSA who after E&Q car sales being dissolved he is now the director of JET car sales
507-517 High Road, Leytonstone, London, E11 4PG
KISSA who has managed to defraud Companies House with his name changed from QUISSANGA BAPTISTA ALBERTO [/COLOR]which he used as E&Q car sales owner/proprietor and on the 16th January 2012 he has the front to be a director with the name of ALBERTO BAPTISTA this is one devious fraudulent money laundering conniving rodent paying no TAX no VAT crook so stay away from this car sales who advertise their cars on AUTO TRADER.
IT SEEMS ALSO THAT HIS DETAILS OF HIS SOLICITOR GIVEN TO US BY THE POLICE as in my opinion COULD ALSO BE A CLONE OF KISSA as 2 texted messages to him fell on deaf ears (need I say any more)0
