Did anyone else think that £29 rooms were fixed?

All of a sudden all rooms turned to purple.

A bit annoying, but i had no problems like that the last time.

HTML didn't work for me, kept giving me an error about calling the hotel.

Maybe this is when they switched the rates back to £29 to all rooms, so all of us got this error.

Did anyone see that if you cancel you don't get any money back!! Looks like I got completely done over at £59!!
Did you not check the price at the time of booking though? It tells you how much you are paying before you submit the credit card details.

But people have got rooms for £1 so it's not just a marketing stunt with no intention of selling! I had done my research by reading past forum posts from last year so thats why I used the html which after all the infuriating error messages eventually worked!

I got one for £1 for 12th April and my dh got one the day before for £29 so am absolutely delighted.Last time I was all steamed up about it but the key was the html site I think. Having said that, probably lots of people didn't get through on that as well. It didn't really help being an existing customer as details all had to be filled in from that site. It really must have been overwhelmed at 5 and it was at 5.20 I got mine. This was no con- just a lottery. It cost nothing but half an hour of your time- its because of our enthusiasm it was crashing.

I was silly enough to think that you would make booking and then they would tell you if you'd got your room for £1!!! You win some and you loose some! Have booked LOTRings tickets for that night at Drury Lane....I'm sure it will be great...darn sight cheaper than anywhere else . Like most of you out there, I wanted something for nothing!!!

Imagine how many people were trying to get the £1 rooms.
We couldn't all be lucky - but best wishes to all those that were.
