The fault lies with the flash site for those of you who kept getting the error message. A lot of us found that out the hard way last time aswell. But someone did post the html link on 1 of the earlier pages. Next time have both windows open & use the html for the booking & the flash to check the available dates.
They have done this offer twice before (someone please correct me if i'm forgetting one of the offers) & although they don't have many rooms available at the £1 rate they do have them, even £29 is a great price for a London hotel. Watch the parking because it does shut fairly early (about 19:30 if I remember right) & parking outside is extortionate.

We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

got a £29 room, sounds to me like too many people want something for nothing.

    at £29 I'm stoked:D
  • well done to all who managed to secure a room for a pond or 29 quid. unfortunately i didnt get one due to error messages. better luck next time and all those who got one enjoy.

That's what I got along with a table of details, name, date etc etc after getting my £1 room. Still havent had email confirmation yet but I assume i'll get it eventually.

We're staying on the 25th of June, going to enjoy the first 2 days at Wimbledon. :)

This is the same html link that was published on this site last November and has been here all along for people to use.

I got my room by using that and hitting submit from 4.55pm until 5.19pm until the 'currently unavailable' pop under window stopped popping up and it showed me an html £1 room. Didn't even see any flash colours.

Didn't manage to get one last time, but thrilled my perseverrance paid off this time.
Actually, this link has been on the site since August 2006 with my post of the very first offer!

Agree wholeheartedly with the rest of your post though!

I kept refreshing and managed to get through at 5.02, but the rate was £59.
