I think they are releasing some of the £29 rooms still as they were not there then they were there. If still trying go back to the post at about 5 that gave the html link which is much better. Good luck.

The issue isn't with there not being enough £1 rooms, the issue is with the rubbish web site and despite filling out our details and selecting a green box (the £1 room), it comes up with a TECHNICAL error.

Hence suggestions of con, joke and so on.

Never managed a £1 room, but had 5 goes on different dates, all went before I'd confirmed... got a £29 room instead :D I'm pleased, printed out some nice pics of it and the description, will "give" that as a nice pressie for the OH's valentines... if he's good of course ;)

after getting error messages even though I was able to bring up my previous details with them, I got a room for £29. However, I think £29 is still a great price for a room in london and although £1 would have been better, I still get a good deal. Now I just have to book megabus for the same dates.
  • I have been trying to book a £1 room for 35 minutes - twice I have put in all my card details only to be told at the final step( after agreeing to ts & cs) that service not available.

This is the same html link that was published on this site last November and has been here all along for people to use.

I got my room by using that and hitting submit from 4.55pm until 5.19pm until the 'currently unavailable' pop under window stopped popping up and it showed me an html £1 room. Didn't even see any flash colours.

Didn't manage to get one last time, but thrilled my perseverrance paid off this time.

It says on the website there may be a delay receiving the booking confirmation emails.
