Hardly anything left in Taunton but Exeter still seem to have lots (albeit alot of the same stuff ie Sanctuary, FCUK and Gok)! Not a single men's gift set left however - the men in my life will just have to smell!!!!! Managed to get lots for me and my Mum and also for my lovely friend who couldn't get there as she works all day on a Wednesday. Spent about £300 in total so that's £1,200 of goodies to share out. Thank heavens the car was parked just outside the door lol. Hope everyone else has had a good day and are pleased with their purchases x

Thanks shopsalot, was that Exebridges or the Exeter High St store? Sounds like it might still be worth a look tonight.

Ha ha, that would be cruel if it wasn't for the awful way those ebay type people (ok some of them before you have a go) behave at the Boots sale and is therefore funny! Looks like they cleared up on the FCUK bags too as they are selling them and a few other Boots items! NO bids on any Boots stuff - UNLUCKY!

I mentioned the other day that i didn't think things would have much of a re-sale value, someone rightly pointed out that someone might buy for example a no7 moisturiser off ebay for a few quid cheaper. but nothing available was high end and even no7 have such good offers, 3 for 2, lots of points etc, that it would be better to just order off the website.
I understand and accept that people will get bargains and put them on ebay, but in this case I'm just not sure you will make much money (by you I mean them, not you lol!)

I wonder what happened to all the black quilted look FCUK bags? I didn't see any yesterday and I'm sure they didn't sell them all half price? Sorry if someone's already mentioned this.

Everything was a bargain at 75% off in Boots but I don't think those buying to resell on eBay will make anything from it as buyers will definitely not pay more than the 1/2 price sale cost with postage included.

The £40 sanctuary gift set would cost around £8 to post through RoyalM. So to get their £10 (75% off sale price) back they would need to list the item at £20.00. It didn't even sell in the shop for £20 so I doubt it will sell on eBay for that price.

The vanity case sets probably cost around £5.00+ to post so again the ebay price is going to be more than Boots 1/2 price sale cost and that's before they make anything from it. That will teach them for being greedy :)

I was thinking that too. They went to 75% off a few weeks back and the shelves were still full. I didn't see any yesterday so wondering if the items have been taken out of the sets to sell seperately.

I brought 3 of the FCUK bags yesterday in Gillingham, hadn't seen them reduced previously they are really nice, wasn't much else left by the time i got there although i did find a Champneys set tucked right at the back of the shelf!

It was like famine victims fighting over rice in a relief camp in my boots today.
Did have a look but it was all tat they were trying to shift, good stuff had gone. Wouldn't think it though, women fighting other women for gift sets, barricading aisles with buggies, wheelchairs, getting their elbows in.

Would never see us blokes behaving like that. :A

PS If anyone wants the cranberry single soaps (Original price £6) or some other soap - looks a bit like a love heart - and a soap that looks like something rude - they've got tons at Canary wharf next to John Lewis.

:rotfl::rotfl: I think thats the wallace and gromit rocket ship soaps :rotfl:

I was surprised at how little stock was left in my local one this morning! Yesterday there were loads of those £6 gift sets - I think they have a small mango body butter and something else in? - and usually those kind of gifts are on the shelf for a few days so I thought I'd get one for a present for someone I'd forgot yesterday but there was only one and that had been torn open. I spied one of the red Sanctuary boxes but the top was open and when I looked in there was only one thing left in it. Apart from those there were the Union Jack mugs, cranberry soaps, Gu crackers, Gu chocolates, photo gifts, a few cards, one of the Danii giftsets and loads of the black leather key fobs, all on the end of an aisle - there were 2½ aisles of stock yesterday!
