I am still very very new to ebay but I know lots of people who say that it is a really safe way to shop as ebay are tradionally very strict.

Well they have took down the listing which i bought and i rang them again and said to me to escalate to ebay after 24/1/12.0

You should have opened a paypal dispute straight away, once the seller has withdrawn the money to their bank account there is naff all they can do to get it back.
Buyer protection is a load of rubbish.0
