Ebay Bought iPhone 4S 16GB for £400 no phone sent

How ridiculous..so the seller goes out of his way to deceive and con the buyer. But of course it's the buyers fault.
It is the buyers responsibility to look at what they are buying. Noone said the seller is right, in fact I said they should be banned.peter_the_piper wrote: »Had the ebay description said, "Box only-NO phone included" I might have agreed with you but he did not.
They said '16GB iPhone BOX', this is a box for an iphone. Again assumptions. What does it take to ask the seller a question first?BargainGalore wrote: »Your in the minority here everyone seems to think the seller is out to scam people. I hope the buyer gets his money and the scammers gets kicked off ebay
The advertising isnt not clear at all what they are selling, if its a box why say 16GB and show a picture of a ipod
They bought this box which charger etc in December to then pass it off as a ipod so they can pocket lots of money
You are correct and I also agree the seller is out to rip people off as I have already said. It says '16GB iPhone BOX', not '16GB iPhone BOXED' or 'IN BOX;
The point you all seem to be missing is that the buyer has some responsibility in what they are doing, buyers should be vigilant which clearly after many years of scams like this they are not.0 -
Has anyone asked the OP if package was tampered with at all. Maybe the box did contain a phone which has been nicked along the way?
Again, assumptions.0 -

Have also reported listing as fraudulent.0 -

Did you read post 19?
This seems to be the Sellers response to the Buyers complaint0 -
Maybe too late now, but seller was only offering RM 1st class. If OP hadn't signed on delivery could have just Opened an INR.0
